X-Force 2024: A New Path Forged – Release Date, Team & Story

Alright, alright, let me tell ya ’bout this X-Force 2024 thing. It’s like them comic books, ya know? The ones with all the pictures and fancy words. This one’s ’bout them mutants, folks born different, with powers and such.

Now, they had this whole “Krakoan Age” thing going on, sounded fancy, didn’t it? But that’s all done now, kaput! They canceled that X-Force book, number 129, they said. Started a new one, called it X-Statix. Don’t ask me what that means, sounds like somethin’ the doctor gives ya for a cough.

This new X-Force, they say it started in July, last year, 2024. A fella named Geoffrey Thorne, he’s the writer. And Marcus To, he draws the pictures. Clayton Crain, he did the cover, the front page picture, ya know? They called it A NEW PATH FORGED. Sounds important, huh?

• First book, they called it Where Monsters Dwell. Came out July 31st, but the cover says September. Complicated, ain’t it? Go ask your comic shop guy, he’ll know.
• Then there’s this fella, Forge. He’s the boss, picks the team. Got Rachel Summers, Betsy Braddock, Sage, and Surge. And a new one, Tank. Big fella, I bet. They do secret missions, real dangerous stuff.

Now, in the fifth book, somethin’ bad happens. Real bad. They get attacked, from everywhere, it seems. And someone… someone dies. Yup, one of the team. Makes ya sad, don’t it? They’re fightin’ hard, tryin’ to do their mission, but someone ain’t gonna make it. That’s the way it goes, I guess.

It’s all a bit confusing, all these names and powers. But it’s exciting, too! Folks flyin’ around, shootin’ lasers, fightin’ bad guys. It’s like them old cowboy movies, but with more… well, more everything!

I saw some pictures, they’re real pretty. Lots of colors, and the folks, they look strong, and some look scary, too. That Tank fella, he looks like he could knock down a barn with one punch. And Rachel Summers, she’s got fire in her eyes, just like my old rooster when he saw a fox.

So, if you like them superhero stories, this X-Force thing might be right up your alley. It’s got action, adventure, and a whole lotta drama. Just don’t ask me to explain all the details, ’cause I’ll get lost. It’s enough for me to see the pictures and know who’s the good guys and who’s the bad. And who died, poor soul.

Anyway, that’s what I know ’bout this X-Force. Go on down to the store, take a look yourself. Maybe you’ll like it, maybe you won’t. But it’s somethin’ to talk about, ain’t it?

They got all sorts of things in comic books now. Not like when I was young, we just had newspapers and them picture books for kids. Now you got mutants and monsters and all sorts of wild things. Makes ya wonder what they’ll come up with next.

Maybe they’ll have a comic book ’bout an old lady like me, with the power to make the best darn apple pie in the county. Now that’d be somethin’!
