Man, I’ve always been a huge fan of Wonder Woman. She’s just so cool, you know? So, I got this idea to try and create some Wonder Woman comic book art myself. I’m no pro artist or anything, but I figured it would be a fun little project.

First things first, I gathered up some reference images. I googled a bunch of Wonder Woman comic book panels, looking for different poses and styles that I liked. I wanted to get a feel for how different artists have drawn her over the years.
Next, I grabbed my sketchbook and a pencil and started sketching. I just doodled a few rough ideas at first, trying to figure out what kind of scene I wanted to create. I played around with different poses for Wonder Woman, trying to make her look powerful and dynamic.
Choosing a Style
- Classic: I really liked the classic look of Wonder Woman, with her star-spangled shorts and golden eagle breastplate.
- Modern: I also considered a more modern style, maybe with her in some kind of armor.
- Mix: In the end, I decided to go for a mix of both, keeping some classic elements but also adding my own little twist.
Once I had a sketch I was happy with, I inked it using a black pen. I am not good at controling the strength, but I still tried to make the lines clean and bold. Then came the coloring. This was the most fun part! I used some colored pencils to bring my drawing to life. I stuck to Wonder Woman’s classic red, blue, and yellow color scheme, but I also added some shading to give the image more depth.
It took me a few days of working on it here and there, but eventually, I finished my Wonder Woman comic book art. It’s definitely not perfect, but I’m pretty proud of how it turned out. It was a lot of fun to create, and it made me appreciate the work of professional comic book artists even more.
If you’re thinking about trying your hand at some comic book art, I say go for it! It’s a great way to express your creativity and have some fun. Just remember to be patient with yourself and enjoy the process.
