Alright, folks, gather around! I wanna share a story about this whole “First Customer Pin” thing from Bad Idea Comics. It started out simple enough. I saw some buzz online about these pins and thought, “Hey, that’s kinda neat.” So, I started to dig a little deeper into what this was all about.
They said the first person to buy their new comic at certain stores gets one of these pins. I found some news that Bad Idea Comics were doing this thing where the first customer at each store gets a special pin. I thought, “Why not? I’ll try to grab one.” I checked which stores were participating, made a list, and planned my route. It was like a mini treasure hunt, which was kinda fun.
The day of the launch, I woke up super early, like a kid on Christmas morning. I hit a couple of stores right when they opened. The first store, nothing. The staff didn’t even know what I was talking about. Strike one. Second store, same deal. I’m starting to think this whole thing is a wild goose chase. But I’m stubborn, so I kept going.
- Store 1: No pin, no clue.
- Store 2: Still nothing. Feeling kinda dumb.
- Store 3: Bingo!
Third store, I finally found one! I walked in, asked for the new Bad Idea comic, and the guy behind the counter hands me the comic and this little pin. I felt a little rush of excitement, not gonna lie. I finally got the pin, but they told me that I can use it to redeem one rock. Sounds ridiculous, right?
The whole process was a bit of a hassle, driving around, striking out a few times. But, at the end of the day, it was an experience. I ended up with a pin, a story to tell, and maybe a little bit of wisdom about these kinds of promotions. It’s all about the journey, right? Or maybe it’s just about the bragging rights. Either way, it was a weird little adventure.
Anyway, that’s my story about the Bad Idea First Customer Pin. Not exactly a life-changing event, but it was something different. And who knows, maybe this little pin will be worth something someday. Or maybe it’ll just sit in a drawer. We’ll see!
