Hey folks, it’s your boy here, back with another blog post. Today, I’m gonna be talking about my deep dive into the world of Heather Antos. You know, that name that’s been buzzing around in the comic book industry.
So, first off, I hit up LinkedIn. That’s where all the professionals hang out, right? I typed in “Heather Antos” and boom, her profile pops up. It says she’s a Group Editor, and she’s all about managing projects and content editing. This lady’s got skills, it seems, managing all kinds of stuff from start to finish.
Next, I went on a little scavenger hunt around the internet to find out more. Turns out, Heather’s not just any editor – she’s a freelance editor and a story consultant. She’s even worked on some big names like Star Wars, Deadpool, and other stuff from Disney and Marvel. I mean, come on, that’s pretty impressive, right?
Then, I got curious about her specific work with Marvel. Found a page that listed all her Marvel projects. It’s a pretty long list, let me tell you. She’s been involved in a lot of cool stuff. I spent a good chunk of time just scrolling through all of it, pretty amazing!
Of course, I also dug into what people are saying about her. There’s some chatter about her being a hire that Marvel Editor Jordan White made. Sounds like she made quite an impression from the get-go.
I stumbled upon an interview series where Heather talked about her early days. She actually started working at a comic book store called Green Brain Comics in Michigan. That’s a pretty cool origin story, huh? From a comic book store to working with giants like Marvel and Disney, you have to admire that grind!
And it doesn’t stop there! She’s also a co-creator of some characters in the Star Wars comics. Doctor Aphra, 0-0-0, BT-1, ring any bells? Yep, she had a hand in creating them. I spent a while reading up on these characters, and they’re pretty interesting.
