So, today I gonna share my experience about making cadence comic art. I saw some news about Cadence Comic Art recently, but I’m not very clear about what happened. It seems that many artists left this company without giving reasons, but I’m not sure. I just focused on how to make comic art, because I’m really into it!
First, I tried to find some information about Cadence Comic Art. I found that it’s a company that sells original artwork by comic creators. They sign exclusive deals with artists. Sounds interesting, right? I wondered what kind of original artwork they are selling, but I haven’t found the answer yet.
Then I started to think about how to create my own comic art. I believe the first thing is to decide which digital comic platform I’d like to use. There are lots of different platforms out there. I need to consider my preferences, the types of comics I like, the features I need, and my budget. It’s a lot to think about!
- Finding my style: I figured the best way to find my style is to draw quick sketches. I drew from a live model, trying to get everything in within 15 minutes. I did about fifty of these drawings. After I finished, I stood back and really looked at how I draw. I think that’s the beginning of my style!
- Looking for artists: I also thought about finding comic book artists for hire. I heard that the best place to find them is often online platforms. Like, there are some general ones and some specialized websites. I haven’t decided which one to use yet, but I’ll keep looking. Maybe I can ask some comic lovers for suggestions, that’s a good idea!
I haven’t really started to create my comic art yet, but I’ve done some research and made some plans. I feel like I’m on the right track. I’m excited to see what I can create! It is really not as easy as I thought, but I will keep learning and practicing.
That’s all for my sharing today. Hope you guys also find this helpful!
