Alright, so listen up, y’all. I’m gonna tell ya ’bout this Batman/Catwoman Special thing, whatever that is. Sounds like some kinda fancy-schmancy comic book, ya know? Like them things my grandkids are always readin’. I ain’t never read one myself, mind you, but I hear tell they got pictures and words and all that.
So, this Batman/Catwoman Special, it seems like it’s a special one-time deal. A one-off, they call it. Like when the grocery store has them special sales on canned peaches, ya know? Only this ain’t peaches, it’s about some fella named Batman and a lady named Catwoman.
Now, from what I gather, Batman is this rich fella, Bruce Wayne, they say. He dresses up like a bat and goes around fightin’ bad guys. Sounds kinda silly to me, but hey, to each their own, right? And this Catwoman, Selina Kyle, she’s a sneaky one. Dresses up like a cat and, well, I guess she does some cat things. Maybe stealin’ stuff, maybe scratchin’ folks, I dunno. But them two, they got a thing goin’ on, it seems. Like a lovey-dovey thing, but also kinda complicated, like when you try to make a cake and the recipe is all messed up.
People, they keep sayin’ Catwoman’s Batman’s big love. His greatest love, even. Imagine that! A fella dressin’ up like a bat and lovin’ a lady dressin’ up like a cat. Makes ya think, don’t it? But their love story, it ain’t been easy, no sir. They had their ups and downs, like a rollercoaster, I reckon. One minute they’re all huggin’ and kissin’, the next they’re fightin’ and arguin’. Just like real folks, I guess.
There was this one time, they say, when they were supposed to get married. But somethin’ went wrong, like always. The writer, Tom King, he had this big plan, ya see? And it took him a long time to get them two hitched. But finally, in Batman/Catwoman #12, they did it. They got married. Took ’em long enough, I say. Young folks these days, they drag things out so much.
- Now, if you wanna get your hands on this Batman/Catwoman Special, or any of them other Batman comics, you can go lookin’ on Amazon, they say. They got deals and sales and all that jazz.
- Or, if you’re feelin’ lucky, you can check out eBay. They got all sorts of stuff on there, even things with Batman and Catwoman on ’em. Lego figures, clothes, who knows what else.
It’s funny, all these places sellin’ these comic books. Makes ya wonder how much money they’re makin’ off this Batman and Catwoman stuff. They got pictures, too. Clip art, they call it. For folks who need pictures for their websites and such. I wouldn’t know nothin’ ’bout that, mind you.
But back to this Batman/Catwoman Special. It’s a one-time deal, remember? So, if you’re one of them comic book fans, you better snatch it up quick before it’s gone. Cause once it’s gone, it’s gone. Like them good ol’ days when life was simpler and you didn’t have to worry ’bout fellas dressin’ up like bats.
In short, this comic is about Batman and Catwoman, their complicated love, and finally gettin’ hitched. It’s a special one-time issue, so if you want it, go get it. That’s all there is to it, plain and simple. And that’s all I gotta say ’bout this Batman/Catwoman Special. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. Got some collard greens that need cookin’.
