Evolution, that’s a big word. I hear folks talkin’ ’bout it all the time now. They say everything changes, you know? Like, nothin’ stays the same forever. My old bones tell me that’s true, I reckon.
Things Change, That’s for Sure
They talk about this evolution thing, like it’s some kind of frenzy. Everything’s always movin’ and shakin’, gettin’ different. Like them seeds, you plant ’em one year, next year they ain’t quite the same. They found some old, old seeds, these smart folks did. From way, way back. And you know what? Those seeds, they’re different from the ones we got now. That’s this frenzy of evolution, I guess. Always changin’.
I seen it with my chickens, too. The ones my grandma had, they weren’t like the ones I got now. Smaller, they were. And the eggs, different color, too. Everything’s always shiftin’, like the river down yonder. Never the same river twice, you know?
- Chickens change
- Seeds change
- Everything changes
Then there are those bones they dig up. Big bones, from critters you ain’t never seen before. They call ’em fossils. These fossils, they tell a story, they say. A story ’bout how things used to be. Different critters roamed around back then. This evolution, it’s like a big storybook, and these fossils are the pictures.
Fossils and Bones
They found some big teeth once, bigger than my hand! Said it belonged to some giant creature. Can you imagine? This whole frenzy of evolution, it’s like a wild party, and all these different critters are invited. Some come, some go. Some get big, some stay small. It’s a real hootenanny, I tell ya.
This whole changin’ thing, it makes ya think. Makes ya wonder what’s gonna come next. Will we all have wings someday? Will we all be swimmin’ in the ocean? This evolution, it’s a mystery, that’s for sure. But it’s happenin’, right under our noses. Just gotta keep your eyes peeled.
Like that wheat, they talk about wheat all the time now. How they made it different. Bigger. More to eat. That’s evolution, too, I reckon. Messin’ with nature, makin’ it do what you want. It can be a frenzy, how people try to change things.
- Big teeth from big critters
- Evolution is a mystery
- Wheat got bigger
I remember when they first started talkin’ ’bout this evolution stuff. Some folks, they didn’t like it. Said it went against the Good Book. But I don’t know. Seems to me like things are always changin’, whether we like it or not. Just gotta roll with the punches, I say.
Change is the Only Constant
This frenzy of evolution, it’s like the weather. Can’t stop it. Can’t control it. Just gotta learn to live with it. Like when the rain comes, you gotta find shelter. When things change, you gotta adapt. That’s what these smart folks say, anyway. They are always talking about this evolution.
They say even us folks, we’re part of this evolution, too. We ain’t the same as we used to be. Taller, maybe. Livin’ longer, that’s for sure. I seen a lot of changes in my time. Seen a lot of folks come and go. This world, it’s always spinnin’, always movin’.
Evolution made us different. We got smarter, I guess. We started using tools, building things. That’s part of the frenzy, too. This need to make things, to change things. It’s in our nature, I reckon. It’s all part of the frenzy of evolution.
- We gotta adapt to change
- We’re part of evolution, too
- We’re always changing things
So, this frenzy of evolution, it’s a big, messy, complicated thing. But it’s real. It’s happenin’ all around us. Just gotta open your eyes and see it. And maybe, just maybe, try to understand it a little bit better. Like those fossils, those old bones. They got a story to tell. And it’s a story about change. A story about this wild, crazy frenzy of evolution.
This Frenzy, It’s Everywhere
It ain’t just the critters and the plants, neither. It’s everything. The way we talk, the way we live. Everything’s always in this frenzy of evolution. Nothin’ stays the same, not for long. We used to use horses, now we got cars. Used to write letters, now we got these little phones. It’s a whirlwind, I tell ya.
You know, I reckon this whole frenzy of evolution, it’s just life, ain’t it? Life’s always movin’, always changin’. Just gotta keep up, best you can. And maybe, every now and then, take a moment to look back at those old fossils and remember where we came from. They changed the wheat. They changed the chickens. They are tryin’ to change everything!
That’s how it is, this frenzy of evolution. This ever-changing world. It is a crazy world. It can be scary, can be excitin’. But it’s the only world we got. So we best learn to live in it, I reckon. It’s a real frenzy out there! And best try to enjoy the ride.
