Alright, so the other day I decided to dive back into Wizard101 and mess around with those Star Spells. Man, it’s been a while, but it’s still pretty fun. So, first thing I did was log into my old account – had to dust off the cobwebs a bit there, you know?
Then I went to my character. As I leveled up, I found that I could train for more spells. I could even unlock access to various spell quests, which was pretty cool.
I wanted to boost my stats, so I started using my training points on specific Star Spells. I noticed I started getting bonuses to things like accuracy and resistance. It felt like I was actually customizing my wizard instead of just following some set path. It felt good, you know, having that kind of control.
Now, I’d heard some people say Storm was the strongest school in the game, but from my experience, every school has its ups and downs. Storm wizards hit hard, yeah, but they also fizzle a lot. I mean, A LOT. So, I realized there’s no real “best” school – it all depends on how you play.
I saw this wand with a star symbol and found out it’s your critical rating. The higher it is, the more likely you are to land a critical hit, which does way more damage. And there’s this thing where the wand bounces off, that’s your block rating. The higher that is, the better you can block attacks. Pretty neat, right?
Then I was like, “How do I get more of these Star Spells?” Turns out, you unlock them as you level up. There are trainers in Celestia Base Camp, and you gotta complete certain quests to unlock some of them. I also found out about the “Sharpen Blade” and “Potent Trap” spells that you unlock later on. Some folks use auras, but I haven’t really gotten into those yet.
Getting Training Points
So, how do you get those training points? Well, you get one every four levels until you hit level 20. So, that means you get them at level 4, 8, 12, and so on. It’s a slow grind, but it’s worth it to customize your wizard.
Honestly, playing around with these Star Spells has been a blast. It’s like adding another layer of strategy to the game. I feel like I’m actually shaping my wizard’s abilities, and that’s pretty satisfying.
If you’re getting back into Wizard101 or just starting out, definitely check out the Star Spells. They add a whole new dimension to the game, and it’s been a lot of fun experimenting with them. Trust me, you won’t regret it!
