Well, howdy there, y’all! Let’s talk about this… whatchamacallit… the walking dead negan action figure. Yep, that fella with the bat, Lucille. Scary fella, I tell ya, but folks seem to like him, go figure.

Now, I ain’t no expert on these here toys, but my grandson, he’s crazy about ’em. He keeps tellin’ me all about this Negan fella and his gang. Said he’s a real meanie on that show, “The Walking Dead” it’s called. Always causin’ trouble, that one. But darn if folks don’t love a good villain, I guess.

• First off, this here Negan figure, it looks just like him, that actor fella. Same mean squint and that creepy smile. They even got his leather jacket and that darn bat, Lucille, all wrapped in barbed wire. Makes you shiver just lookin’ at it, let me tell you.
• And the details, oh my! My grandson showed me, even got dirt on his boots and little wrinkles around his eyes. They say it’s real “high quality” stuff, but all I see is a scary doll, to be honest.
• Now, they got all sorts of these Negan figures, I hear. Some are big, some are small, some even talk! Can you believe that? A talkin’ doll that looks like a bad guy. My grandson, he wants the one with the movin’ arms and legs, so he can make him, you know, “bash zombies.” Kids these days, I tell ya.

My grandson said something about “collecting” them. Says some folks buy these things and just put ‘em on a shelf, never even play with ‘em. Seems like a waste of money to me, but what do I know? I’d rather spend my money on a good fryin’ pan, but to each their own, I suppose.

He also rambled on ‘bout how some of these figures are real “rare” and worth a lot of money. Said some folks pay hundreds, even thousands of dollars for these things. Can you imagine? Payin’ all that money for a little plastic man. He also told me to always look for deals, you know, like on that “Eee-bay” thing. He said you can find darn near anything on there, even this here Negan. Always checkin’ that “Eee-bay,” he is. Says they got “top brands” and all sorts of deals. I just nod my head and pretend I understand. It’s all Greek to me, y’know.

Speaking of deals, he told me sometimes you gotta be careful, though. Said some folks try to sell you fake ones, not the real deal. He called them “knock-offs.” Said they look kinda the same but ain’t made as good. So, if you’re gonna get one of these Negan fellas, make sure you’re gettin’ the real McCoy, he says. Don’t want no cheap imitation, that’s for sure.

And the packaging! Don’t even get me started on the packaging. These things come in these fancy boxes with pictures and words all over ‘em. My grandson, he keeps the boxes, says they’re part of the “collecting” thing. Me? I’d just throw ‘em away. They just take up space, far as I’m concerned. But he says it makes the toy more valuable if you keep the box. Who knew?

So, there you have it, my thoughts on this here the walking dead negan action figure. It’s a scary lookin’ thing, but folks seem to like it. If you’re gonna get one, make sure you get a good one, and don’t pay too much. And for goodness sake, don’t let it scare the bejesus outta ya. It’s just a toy, after all, even if it does look like a mean ol’ fella with a bat.
