Well, ain’t that somethin’, they got this show, “The Boys.” They sayin’ there’s gonna be a big ol’ fight. Like, blood and guts and all that. June 13, they gonna show it.

Now, they got this picture, they call it “key art,” I reckon. It’s for that “The Boys Season 4.” See, these boys, they ain’t right. Got powers and such, but they ain’t usin’ ’em right. Like that fella with the laser eyes. Burns folks up. That ain’t no way to be.

• Them “supes” ain’t no good, I tell ya.

Them folks watchin’ this show, they like it. Season 3, they say, was a hoot. I dunno, I ain’t watched it. Don’t got time for such things. Too busy workin’. But folks like what they like, I guess.

Amazon Prime, that’s where it’s at. They showin’ this “The Boys.” August 23, they made a big fuss. Told everyone about it. Well, they gotta do somethin’, I reckon. Gotta get folks watchin’.

Them “boys,” they ain’t like my boys. My boys, they work hard. Help out around the farm. These boys on the TV, they just fightin’ all the time. And the blood, don’t get me started. They got guts flyin’ everywhere.

Why they gotta make a show like that?

Folks like seein’ fights, I guess. Seein’ them fellas with powers tearin’ each other up. It ain’t right, but folks watch it. Maybe it’s ’cause they wanna see the good guys win. I dunno.

This show, it ain’t for kids. Too much violence. Too much bad language. My grandkids, they ain’t watchin’ this. They watch cartoons. Nice, friendly stuff. Not this blood and guts business.

June 13, remember that. That’s when it starts. “The Boys Season 4.” Get ready for the fight. Get ready for the blood. Get ready for them “supes” gettin’ what’s comin’ to ’em.

Folks on the internet, they talkin’ about this show all the time. Sayin’ it’s the best thing since sliced bread. I dunno about that. Sliced bread’s pretty good. But this show? It’s just a show.

They got this picture, this “key art,” they showin’ it everywhere. Got them fellas lookin’ all mean and tough. They want you to watch. They want you to see the fight. They want you to see the blood.

It’s all about the fight, I reckon.

Maybe there’s a story in there somewhere. Maybe there’s somethin’ good about it. But all I see is fightin’. All I see is blood. That ain’t my kinda show. But folks like it, so they keep makin’ it.
