Alright, so you wanna know about this Stellaris Console Edition Roadmap 2023, huh? Well, lemme tell ya, it’s a whole lotta stuff ’bout spaceships and aliens and whatnot. Don’t rightly understand all them fancy words, but I’ll tell ya what I know.
First off, they got this game, Stellaris. Been out for a while now, since, what, 2016? And folks seem to like it a lot. It’s one of them games where you build stuff and fight other folks, but in space. You know, like them Star Wars movies, but you get to be the boss.
Now, this here Console Edition, that’s for them PlayStations and Xboxes. Means you can play it on your TV, sittin’ on your couch, instead of hunched over a computer. That’s good for us old folks, I reckon. My back ain’t what it used to be.
So, what’s new in 2023? Well, they talk about this Overlord thing. Sounds fancy, don’t it? From what I gather, it’s somethin’ about havin’ more folks under your thumb. Like, you’re the big boss, and they gotta do what you say. More vassals, less hassles, they say. Sounds like a good deal to me. I always say, it’s better to tell folks what to do than to do it yourself.
- Overlord Expansion: More control over your space empire, making others do your dirty work.
- Nemesis Expansion: Become the crisis! Or fight against it. Big space battles and stuff.
They also got this Nemesis thing. Now, that sounds a bit scary. Seems like you can either be the big bad guy, the one causin’ all the trouble, or you can fight against ’em. Like them superhero movies, I guess. Either way, there’s gonna be a lot of fightin’. Big space battles with lasers and explosions and all that jazz. My grandkids would love it, I bet.
And they keep puttin’ out these Expansion Passes. It’s like, you pay ’em some money, and you get a bunch of new stuff. New spaceships, new aliens, new things to do. It’s like buyin’ a whole new game, but not quite. They just keep addin’ on to the old one.
The developers, them folks who make the game, they’re always talkin’ about dev diaries and astral planes and such. I don’t pay much attention to that stuff. Too much jibber-jabber for me. Just tell me what I can do in the game, and I’ll figure it out.
Oh, and they’re talkin’ about somethin’ called The Machine Age comin’ in 2024. That’s next year, but it sounds important. Seems like it’s all about robots and machines takin’ over. You know, like in them Terminator movies. Scary stuff, but also kinda cool. You get to play as the robots, if you want.
They say the Machine empires get their own traits and ascension paths. Sounds complicated, but I guess it means they get to be different and special. And there’s somethin’ about cybernetic themes and robotic society. I don’t rightly know what that means, but it sounds futuristic, don’t it?
Three new Origins? Sounds like a whole new beginning for them robots. Maybe they start out on a different planet, or have different technology or somethin’. It’s all about makin’ the game more interestin’, I guess. Keepin’ folks comin’ back for more.
So, that’s the gist of it, as far as I can tell. Lots of new stuff comin’ to Stellaris Console Edition in 2023 and beyond. More spaceships, more aliens, more fightin’, more robots. Sounds like a good time to me, if you like that kinda thing. Me, I prefer a good game of bingo, but to each their own, I always say.
