Sneak Peek: Marvel Comics Solicitations September 2024 Titles Revealed

Well, let me tell ya, September’s gonna be a big month for them comic book folks! Marvel, yeah, that’s the one. They’re pumpin’ out a whole bunch of new stuff, and some old stuff too, I reckon.

X-Men, Spider-Man, and a whole lotta others!

First off, them X-Men, they’re gettin’ a new book, Exceptional X-Men they’re callin’ it. Sounds fancy, huh? It’s got somethin’ to do with Kate Pryde and Emma Frost, them two gals always stirrin’ up trouble. And then there’s Logan, Wolverine, you know, the fella with the claws? He’s got his own story comin’, a big ol’ adventure, they say. Saladin Ahmed, he’s writin’ it, so it must be good, I guess.

If you’re into Spider-Man, well, there’s plenty of that too. They didn’t say exactly what, but there’s a whole article ’bout it, they told me. Click here, they say, if you wanna know more. Me? I ain’t clickin’ nothin’, I’m too old for that clickin’ stuff.

Old Comics and New Comics, It’s All the Same to Me!

Now, they’re bringin’ back some old Daredevil comics too. Bendis and Maleev, them fellas who made Daredevil so dark and broody, their stuff is gettin’ reprinted. Omnibus, they call it, fancy word for a big ol’ book. And there’s this Deadline thing, a short little story ’bout some gal named Kat Farrell. She’s a reporter, nosy like all them reporters, and she gets mixed up in some murder business. Daily Bugle, that’s where she works, same place as that Spider-Man fella.

You know, back in my day, comics were simpler. You had your good guys, your bad guys, and they punched each other a lot. Now, it’s all complicated, with all these different universes and timelines and whatnot. Hard to keep track of it all, I tell ya.

Marvel Comics, Been Around Since Forever!

Marvel, they’ve been makin’ these things since way back when. 1939, they say, was the first one. Marvel Comics #1, it was called. Simple name, eh? Martin Goodman, he started it all. He was a magazine fella, and then he thought, “Hey, maybe these comic books are the next big thing!” And I guess he was right, ’cause they’re still makin’ ’em all these years later.

So, What’s It All Mean?

Well, I don’t know much about these comic books, but I can tell ya this: people love ’em. They love the stories, the heroes, the villains, all of it. And Marvel, they keep churnin’ ’em out, month after month, year after year. So, if you’re one of them comic book fans, September’s gonna be a good month for ya. You got your X-Men, your Spider-Man, your Daredevil, and a whole lot more. Go on, get yourself down to the store and pick ’em up. Just don’t expect me to read ’em with ya, my eyes ain’t what they used to be.

More Comics Than You Can Shake a Stick At!

And it ain’t just the stories, it’s the pictures too. All them bright colors and muscles and explosions. They’re somethin’ else, I gotta say. And the prices, don’t even get me started on the prices! Back in my day, a nickel would get ya a whole stack of comics. Now, you gotta take out a loan just to buy one! But hey, if it makes ya happy, then I guess it’s worth it.
