Well, let me tell ya, this here Godzilla fella, the one from the year 2000, they made a whole bunch of figures of him. Some are big, some are small, some you can move around, and some just stand there looking mean.

I saw some pictures online, these young folks showed me. There’s this one, they call it the “Millennium Godzilla,” looks real scary with all them pointy things on his back. They say he’s about 55 meters tall in the movie, that’s a whole lotta meters, let me tell ya. Bigger than any ol’ barn around here, that’s for sure.
Now, they got these figures, like little toys, but some ain’t so little. Some are made of this soft stuff, vinyl they call it. And some, they got joints and you can bend ‘em and pose ‘em however you want. My grandson, he’d love these things, always messing with them dinosaurs.
I heard tell there’s a company, Bandai, they make a lot of these Godzilla figures. They got one, a small one, weighs just a few ounces. Then they got these other ones, real fancy, they call ‘em S.*. Sound highfalutin to me, but them young folks, they like that kinda stuff. One of them, it’s even black, looks real mean and tough.
And then there’s this other one, a “maquette replica,” whatever that means. Sounds fancy, probably costs a pretty penny. They say it’s made of soft vinyl too. You know, back in my day, toys were made of wood and tin, none of this fancy plastic stuff.
- There’s a whole bunch of places you can get these figures, you know.
- This here eBay place, they got all sorts of ‘em, new and used.
- And this Amazon place too, they got ‘em.
- You can even get ‘em delivered right to your door, ain’t that somethin’?
I saw this one figure, they say it’s seven inches tall. That ain’t so big, but they made it real detailed. Got them mean eyes and sharp teeth, just like the real Godzilla, or leastways the one in the movie. They even got the skin color right, dark green they say. Sounds like they put a lot of work into making it.
This Godzilla 2000, he’s different from the other Godzillas, I guess. They change him up every now and then, make him look a little different. This one, he’s got a big mouth, narrow head, and all them jagged things on his back. Real scary looking, if you ask me.
They made a movie about him, “Godzilla vs. Megaguirus” they called it. But they say it don’t have nothing to do with the other Godzilla movies, just the first one from way back when. I don’t know much about that, never watched them monster movies myself. Too much screamin’ and hollerin’ for my taste.
There’s this other monster in the movie, Orga they call him. He’s an alien, they say, and he absorbs Godzilla’s DNA and turns into a big monster himself. Sounds like a whole lotta trouble to me. And there are these other aliens, Millennians, been stuck on Earth for millions of years. Don’t ask me how they got here, I ain’t no scientist.

So, if you like these Godzilla things, there’s plenty of figures out there for you to collect. Big ones, small ones, cheap ones, expensive ones. Just depends on how much money you got to spend and how much space you got in your house. Me? I’ll stick to my knick-knacks, thank you very much.
Just remember, these things are just toys, don’t let ’em scare ya too much. Although, that Godzilla fella, he do look kinda mean.
