So, I’ve been messing around with Pokemon Go again lately, and I really wanted to get my hands on a shiny Mega Blaziken. I mean, who wouldn’t? It’s a fire-spitting chicken that’s also a martial arts master, but it glows!
First, I had to find a Mega Blaziken raid. I checked the usual spots, you know, the local gyms and all that. Finally found one, and let me tell you, battling Mega Blaziken is no joke. It’s a tough one, a real beast. The timer starts, and you’ve got like 300 seconds to beat it. I threw everything I had at it – my strongest Pokemon, the whole nine yards.
I teamed up with a couple of other trainers, it was two or three of us, and we went at it. We used all of our best stuff. I brought out my heavy hitters, like my Rayquaza, and I had this Shadow Groudon that I had levelled up, it was past level 40. Used some good moves too, like Air Slash and Dragon Ascent on Rayquaza and Mud Shot and Precipice Blades on Groudon.
After the raid, you don’t catch Mega Blaziken directly. You gotta catch a regular Blaziken, and then, you can mega-evolve it. I made sure to use Golden Razz Berries, and I did that Circle Lock Technique thing to increase my chances. It took a few tries, some close calls, but we finally beat it. Heart was pounding, let me tell you! And guess what? I caught a shiny Blaziken! It took a few tries because there are only one in sixty, it’s not easy!
Evolving into a Shiny Mega Blaziken
- To get the shiny Mega Blaziken, I needed to mega-evolve my shiny Blaziken.
- That required 200 Mega Energy, which I had been saving up from other raids.
- I tapped on my shiny Blaziken, hit that Mega Evolve button, and boom! There it was.
The Disappointing Reveal
Honestly, the shiny Mega Blaziken was a bit of a letdown. It’s not that different from the regular one. The red parts are kind of orange now, but it’s not a huge difference. Still cool to have, I guess, but not as flashy as I hoped. At least the process was fun, and I got a good story out of it.
So, that’s my adventure of getting a shiny Mega Blaziken. It was a grind, a bit disappointing in the end, but hey, that’s Pokemon Go for you. It was a blast!
