Alright, let’s talk about this “Ralts Full Art” thing. I ain’t no expert, mind you, but I seen my grandkids fiddlin’ with these cards, so I picked up a thing or two.

First off, what is this “Ralts” thing anyway? Sounds like somethin’ you’d get from coughin’ too much. Turns out it’s one of them “Pokey-mans,” like that Pikachu critter my grandson’s always yellin’ about. This Ralts, it’s a little fella, kinda cute, I guess, with big eyes and a floaty head thing.
Now, this “full art” business, that’s where it gets fancy. See, normally these cards, they got the picture of the Pokey-man in a little box, and then a bunch of words and numbers all over. But a full art card, well, the picture takes up the whole darn card! It’s like they blew up the picture real big, and you can see all the little details. My grandkid says they’re shiny too, all sparkly and whatnot.
- One thing I heard is that these full art cards are kinda rare.
- Like findin’ a four-leaf clover in the pasture, you don’t see ’em every day.
- They come outta them booster packs, those little shiny packages the kids rip open like it’s Christmas mornin’.
And wouldn’t you know it, some of these cards are worth somethin’! Can you believe it? People payin’ good money for little pieces of cardboard. Heard tell that these Ralts full art cards, especially the ones from that “Scarlet and Violet” set, folks are willin’ to pay a pretty penny for ’em. Somethin’ about bein’ “holo” and “ultra rare.” Sounds like a bunch of hogwash to me, but hey, if folks wanna spend their money on it, who am I to judge?
My grandson told me somethin’ about the “Slow experience rate group,” whatever that means. Said this Ralts takes longer to get strong than other Pokey-mans. Like a stubborn mule, I reckon. Takes more work to get it goin’, but once it does, it’s a real workhorse. He was goin’ on and on about levels and experience points, but it all just went in one ear and out the other. Too much thinkin’ for an old lady like me.
So, if you’re lookin’ for one of these Ralts full art cards, good luck to ya. You’ll probably have to go diggin’ through a whole pile of them booster packs, or maybe try your luck on that “eBay” thing my daughter’s always talkin’ about. Just remember, they ain’t easy to find, and you might have to shell out a few bucks if you really want one.
From what I gather, these full art cards started way back with some “Black and White” expansion. That was a long time ago, even before my youngest grandkid was born. Seems like these Pokey-man things have been around forever. And they keep comin’ up with new ones, new sets, new full art cards… it’s enough to make your head spin.
But I guess that’s what keeps the kids interested. It’s like a treasure hunt, always lookin’ for that special card, that rare find. And this Ralts full art, well, it’s one of those treasures, seems like. A shiny, sparkly little piece of cardboard with a funny-lookin’ creature on it. Who knew?
Anyways, that’s about all I know about this Ralts full art. Like I said, I ain’t no expert, just a grandma tryin’ to make sense of all this newfangled stuff. But if you see my grandkids, you can ask them. They probably know more about it than I do. They’re always yappin’ about “illustrator rares” and card sizes like “4 x 3 x 0.03 inches”. Kids these days!
