Well now, if you’ve been waitin’ for the “Raging Surf” to hit the shelves, let me tell ya, it’s been a bit of a wait, but it’s finally here. Let me give you the rundown of them dates, so you ain’t left in the dark, like a hen with one egg in a basket.
Now, this “Raging Surf” thing, it came out in Japan first, on the 22nd of September, 2023. Yep, folks in Japan got their hands on it early, just like they always do. But don’t worry, it didn’t take too long for the rest of us to catch up. A week later, on the 29th of September, 2023, the good folks over in Taiwan and Hong Kong got their own version, all in Traditional Chinese. By October 13th, it was the turn of the Koreans to get their hands on it, and then by October 27th, 2023, our neighbors in Thailand could finally dive in too. So, it’s been spreadin’ around pretty quick after that Japanese release, for sure.
Now, “Raging Surf” is a real big deal for those who collect the Pokémon cards. There’s been a lot of talk about them Technical Machines (TMs) too. Some folks are real excited about it, sayin’ they’re makin’ a big return in this set. If you’re into collectin’ cards and all that, you’ll find this set has some real good ones in it. But, mind ya, there’s still some folks wonderin’ about the total number of cards in the set. We know there’s 62 normal ones, but the whole lot? Well, that’s still up in the air, like a kite on a windy day!
If you’re lookin’ for prices and collections, well, I reckon you might be busy for a while. There’s a lot of folks out there, from the old folks down at the market to the young ones on the internet, keepin’ track of them prices and whatnot. You can bet your boots there’s gonna be some fluctuation, especially once them cards are sellin’ like hotcakes.
Speaking of sets, the “Raging Surf” cards are part of a bigger picture. There’s this thing called Paradox Rift comin’ along, which will include cards from “Raging Surf” along with two other Japanese sets—Ancient Roar and Future Flash. Now, if you ask me, that’s a whole heap of cards for folks to get their hands on, but I reckon the collectors will be happy. These cards are all expected to drop sometime in October 2023, and it’s a big ol’ mix of 66 cards from each of them sets. So, if you’re plannin’ to get in on that action, ya better keep your eye out, ‘cause it’s gonna be a busy season!
And let me tell you, there’s more comin’. If you’re still hungry for more Pokémon stuff, don’t forget about that “Stellar Crown Ultra Premium Collection” that’s due to drop on November 1, 2024. Now, that’s a ways off, but folks are already chattin’ about it. I reckon it’s gonna be somethin’ special, so mark your calendars, if you’re the type to do that sorta thing.
Well, that’s the rundown on “Raging Surf” and all the goings-on with it. If you’ve been waitin’ to get your hands on them cards or just keepin’ track of the dates, I hope this helps. Don’t go missin’ out now, you hear?
