Alright, let’s talk about this Pokey-man Go thing, you know, the one all the youngsters are playin’ on their phones. Seems like there’s some kinda trouble brewin’, some lawsuit or somethin’. Heard folks talkin’ down at the market, sayin’ some company, N-eye-an-tic, I think they called it, is gettin’ sued.
Now, I ain’t no lawyer, mind you, but from what I gather, it’s all ’cause folks are wanderin’ onto other people’s land tryin’ to catch them Pokey-mans. Land, you know, where folks live and don’t want no strangers stompin’ all over their gardens and such. Imagine that, someone comin’ into your yard, diggin’ up your petunias, all for some silly little phone game. I’d be madder than a wet hen!
- Seems this game, it ain’t even been out that long, maybe six months or so, and already they’re in hot water. Two lawsuits, they say! That’s a lot of trouble for a game, if you ask me.
- And it ain’t just one or two folks complainin’, they sayin’ it could be dozens, maybe even hundreds, all mad ’cause they think this company is tellin’ people to go on their property.
Then there’s somethin’ about these “Raid Passes,” whatever those are. Sounds like folks paid money for ’em, thinkin’ they’d get somethin’ special, but they didn’t get what they was promised. People are sayin’ they got scammed, cheated outta their hard-earned cash. Now, that ain’t right. A deal’s a deal, I always say. If you promise somethin’, you gotta deliver, plain and simple.
And another thing, this game, it keeps crashin’ and whatnot. Folks are sayin’ their phones ain’t workin’ right, the game keeps stoppin’, all sorts of problems. They say it’s ’cause the internet’s bad or the game itself is messed up. Well, if you’re gonna make a game, you gotta make it work right, don’t ya? Nothin’ more frustratin’ than somethin’ that don’t work when it’s supposed to.
Now, about this lawsuit stuff. I heard you gotta join in quick if you wanna be part of it. Can’t just sit around and wait, ’cause once the court makes up its mind, that’s it, you’re out of luck. So if you think you got a beef with this Pokey-man company, you gotta speak up fast, before it’s too late. Don’t be shy, stand up for what’s right, that’s what my mama always told me.
Anyways, that’s the gist of it, as far as I can tell. Pokey-man Go, lawsuits, trespassin’, unhappy customers… sounds like a whole lotta fuss to me. Back in my day, we didn’t have no such things. We played outside, in the dirt, with sticks and rocks. And we didn’t need no fancy phones or lawsuits to have a good time. But times change, I guess. Just hope these youngsters learn to be respectful of other folks’ property, and these companies learn to treat their customers right.
This whole Pokey-man thing, seems more trouble than it’s worth, if you ask me. But what do I know? I’m just an old lady tryin’ to make sense of it all.
