Alright, let me tell ya ’bout this Plague Seeker comic. It’s a story, see, set way off in the future, like, way, way after somethin’ real bad happened. They call it “The Calamity,” sounds like a big ol’ mess, right?
The world’s gone to pot, ain’t nothin’ like it used to be. Folks are scarcer than hen’s teeth, and these big ugly monsters, the “Great Plagues,” they’re the bosses now. Scary stuff, lemme tell ya.
This comic, Plague Seeker, it’s about a fella, I guess, who goes around huntin’ these Plagues. He’s a tough one, gotta be, to survive in a world like that. The first issue, it’s a big one, 80 pages they say. That’s a lot of readin’, but if you like this kinda stuff, it’ll keep ya busy for a spell.
They call this fella the Plague Seeker, I reckon that’s ‘cause he’s always lookin’ for these monsters. And this first story, it’s about him chasin’ after one real nasty fella called the “Butcher of Bldworth.” Sounds like a mean one, alright. Just the name gives ya the shivers.
- This “Butcher,” he’s probably one of the worst of the bunch.
- And our Plague Seeker, he’s gotta go after him.
- It’s a dangerous job, but somebody’s gotta do it, I guess.
This whole thing, it’s made by a fella named Charlie White. Some folks call him “MoistCritikal,” don’t ask me why, these young folks and their fancy names! He’s the one who dreamt up this whole world and the Plague Seeker and all them monsters. He’s got a good imagination, I’ll give him that.
It’s published by somethin’ called “Bad Egg Publishing.” Sounds kinda funny, don’t it? “Bad Egg.” Maybe it means the folks who made the comic are a little bit wild, a little bit different. That’s okay, I guess. Sometimes the different ones are the most interestin’.
The comic started comin’ out in 2023. That ain’t too long ago, so it’s still kinda new. They call each one an “issue,” and this first one, it’s a big deal, seein’ as it’s the start of the whole story. They also talk about somethin’ called “Volume.” I ain’t rightly sure what that means, but it sounds important. Maybe it’s like a whole bunch of issues together or somethin’.
This world the Plague Seeker lives in, it’s a wasteland. That means it’s all messed up, nothin’ growin’ right, all dusty and broken. Can you imagine livin’ in a place like that? I sure can’t. Makes my bones ache just thinkin’ about it. But the Plague Seeker, he’s gotta travel through it, huntin’ them Plagues. He’s a brave one, that’s for sure.
So, if you like stories about tough guys fightin’ monsters in a messed-up world, then this Plague Seeker comic might be right up your alley. It ain’t for the faint of heart, though. There’s gonna be fightin’, and scary stuff, and who knows what else. But if you can stomach all that, it might just be a good read. Just don’t come cryin’ to me if it gives ya nightmares!
And they got these things called “Tags,” see? They help folks find the comic when they’re lookin’ for it online. They use words like “Plague,” “Comics,” “Bad Egg,” and “Volume.” It’s all fancy computer stuff, but it helps folks find what they want, so I guess it’s alright.
This Charlie White, he puts a lot of work into this comic, I reckon. You gotta be smart to make up a whole world and all them characters and stories. And you gotta be good at drawin’ too, to make them pictures look real. It’s a lot more than just scribblin’ on paper, let me tell ya.
I ain’t read it myself, all this monster fightin’ and end-of-the-world stuff, it ain’t for me. But if you young folks like that sort of thing, you go ahead and give it a try. Just remember, it’s all make-believe, don’t go gettin’ any wild ideas!
