Oh boy, so today I got into this thing called “Penthouse Comics #1.” I’d heard some chatter about it online, you know, how it’s been 30 years since the original line came out. Yeah, that got me curious, so I thought, “Why not give it a shot?”

First thing I did was check out who was behind this. I saw that Luana Vecchio did the cover art. I recognized her name from some other stuff I read, like Lovesick and Bolero, so that was a good sign. I mean, a good cover always gets me hooked.
Then I went looking for what other people thought about it. I found some reviews and discussions, folks talking about who wrote what, like Jean-David Morvan, Stephen Desberg, and Jean Dufaux. Seemed like a mix of folks involved, which I thought was pretty cool. It’s always interesting to see different styles come together.
So, I finally started to read. It says this issue is part of an ongoing series, continuing some stories and even throwing in a new one called “The.” Sounds like it’s got a bit of everything – action, thrillers, and even some horror. I’m not big on horror, but hey, I’m open to surprises.
I’ve only just started flipping through it, but it looks like they’ve gathered a bunch of different artists and writers. I’m guessing each story has its own flavor. It’s kind of exciting, like opening a box of assorted chocolates and not knowing what you’re gonna get.
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much, but now I’m kind of into it. It’s like a trip down memory lane, but with new stuff mixed in. I’ll keep reading and see where this goes. Who knows, maybe I’ll find a new favorite in here.
Anyway, that’s my little adventure for today. Just thought I’d share what I was up to. It’s always fun to try out something new, right? You never know what you might discover. And with a mix of stories like this, it’s like a little adventure in itself.
