Oxygen SR3 Guide: How to Obtain and Maximize This Destiny 2 Scout Rifle

Well, lemme tell ya, this Oxygen SR3, it’s somethin’ else, but it ain’t all that it’s cracked up to be. I been around long enough to know when somethin’ is gettin’ overhyped. I’m tellin’ ya, the Oxygen SR3 feels good, sure, but when you start lookin’ around, there are plenty of other weapons out there that do just as good, if not better, than this one. You don’t need to be chasin’ after this one unless you just like the way it looks or somethin’ like that.

Now, the Oxygen SR3 is what they call a “legacy weapon,” which means it don’t get to level up no more with the new caps they got. If you check the power level of it, it’ll tell ya that the max it can go to is 1350. That’s not so bad for older content, but if you’re hopin’ to keep up with the newer stuff, you’ll find that it don’t scale as well as other weapons might. So, if you’re just hopin’ to use it for show, well, go ahead. But if you’re lookin’ to keep up in the current game, you might be disappointed.

Now, if you’re new to this whole Destiny thing and you don’t got a lot of fancy weapons yet, maybe this Oxygen SR3 will do you just fine. It’s a decent scout rifle, especially if you don’t mind puttin’ in the work to get it.
