OSRS Summer Summit 2023: Key Updates and Announcements Revealed

Well now, y’all probably know that every year, Old School RuneScape holds these big shindigs called “Summits” where they get on livestream and tell everyone what’s comin’ next for the game. The one from 2023, which took place on August 19, 2023, was no different. Let me tell ya, there were some exciting things talked about that day! If you didn’t catch it, don’t worry, I’m here to fill ya in on all the juicy details, and we’ll take a look at what’s comin’ up for 2024 too.

First off, they talked about Leagues IV. If you’re a fan of these seasonal events, you’re in for a treat! Leagues IV is gonna be bringin’ a fresh set of challenges, new rewards, and a whole lotta fun. It’s all about playin’ the game in new and tricky ways, so get ready to dust off your skills. You’ll be runnin’ through the game with special rules, takin’ on tougher monsters, and gettin’ your hands on some nice loot if you can make it to the top.

Then, there’s this new area expansion called Varlamore. Now, this place sounds like somethin’ straight outta a fairytale! Varlamore’s comin’ in early 2024, and it’s gonna be called “The Shining Kingdom.” Just the name makes it sound all shiny and fancy, don’t it?
