Alright, so you wanna know about this “Moss” thing, huh? It’s some kinda game, a VR game at that. Fancy stuff, if you ask me. My grandkids, they’re always jabberin’ about these things. Virtual Reality, they call it. Like you’re really in the game, y’know?

This “Moss,” well, it ain’t just one game, it’s a whole dang franchise. That means there’s more than one, see? Like them “Fast and Furious” movies, but for games, and you gotta wear them goggles to play. They say it’s real popular, won a bunch of awards. More than a hundred, they tell me! Folks must really like playin’ it.

Now, who made this “Moss?” Some company called Polyarc. Sounds like a bunch of smarty-pants city folk to me. They built this game special for that VR thingamajig. So, you put on your goggles, and you’re lookin’ at things from, well, it’s hard to explain. Sometimes it’s like you’re lookin’ through your own eyes, and sometimes it’s like you’re watchin’ a little movie. But mostly, you gotta solve puzzles. Keeps your brain busy, I guess, like them crossword puzzles in the newspaper, only fancier.

The story? Oh, it’s about some kinda hero. A little fella, I think. And you gotta help him out. Write his story, they say. Sounds like a book, don’t it? But it’s a game. A game that’s like a book, I guess. Confusin’, ain’t it?

• So, how long does it take to play? Well, if you’re just tryin’ to get through it, they say it’s about four hours. That’s a good chunk of time, but my grandkids, they can sit there all day playin’ these things.
• But if you wanna see everything in the game, well, then it takes longer. Like explorin’ every nook and cranny, y’know? Like when you’re lookin’ for them lost eggs in the henhouse, you gotta check everywhere! Same kinda thing, I reckon.

Heard somethin’ about them makin’ new versions of this “Moss” game. For that new PlayStation VR2 thing. That’s another one of them goggle contraptions, only newer, I guess. So, if you got one of them fancy new gizmos, you can play it on that too. They released it back in February 2023, so it’s been out a while.

And there’s more news! Seems Polyarc, they got somethin’ up their sleeves. Somethin’ happenin’ in September 2024. Maybe another game? Or maybe just a new sock puppet, who knows with these city folk. They always gotta be doin’ somethin’ new.

Anyways, that’s what I know about this “Moss” game. It’s a VR puzzle adventure thing, made by Polyarc, and folks seem to like it. You play as a hero, solve puzzles, and it takes a few hours to finish. And if you’re one of them folks with the fancy goggles, you can play it on that new PlayStation thing too. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on my chickens.

Polyarc must be busy, what with all this “Moss” stuff. And those PSVR2 versions mean they are keeping up with the times. That VR game thing is really takin’ off, it seems. People like to escape, I guess. And this action-adventure puzzle game lets them do just that, even if it is only for a few hours.
