Okay, so, today I wanted to mess around with catching this little dude called “Magby”. I heard it’s a baby Pokemon, pretty rare, and kinda tricky to snag. I was told it hangs out in this place called “Firepit Island”, which is part of a bigger area, the “Cobalt Coastlands”.
First thing I did was head over to this “Firepit Island”. Man, whoever said this place was cramped wasn’t kidding. It’s like a maze in there, real narrow paths, and to make things worse, I kept bumping into these other Pokemon, “Magmar” and “Graveler”. Not what I was after, but they kept popping up.
I did some reading online, and someone said “Magby” is a rare spawn, which means it doesn’t show up all the time. They suggested going in and out of the area a few times to kind of “reset” things. So that’s what I did. I kept running in and out, in and out, hoping to get lucky.
About the “massive mass breakout”
-
Then I stumbled on this other tip online. Someone mentioned something called a “massive mass breakout”. Apparently, these are special events that happen after you beat the main part of the game. They said maybe “Magby” only appears in normal mass outbreaks, not sure.
But then another guy chimed in and said you can actually catch “Magby” in different caves too, like the “Volcanic Cave”, “Sandsesr Cave”, and “Typhlo Cavern”. But you need to have at least three badges for that. I didn’t know what it was. So I started to get my badges.
After getting my first 3 badges, I went straight to the “Volcanic Cave” and tried my luck there. I spent a good chunk of time exploring those caves. I saw a few “Magby” in the “Volcanic Cave”, and I did finally catch one. Then I caught another one in the “Sandsesr Cave”. But I didn’t meet “Magby” in “Typhlo Cavern”. What a day! Gotta say, it was a bit of a grind, but totally worth it to finally get that “Magby”.
