Okay, so, I’ve been digging into this Pokemon TCG thing again. Specifically, I’ve been focusing on this set called “Lost Origin.”

I started by trying to figure out just how big this set was. I mean, you see these numbers thrown around, but I wanted to see for myself.
Turns out, Lost Origin has a grand total of 247 cards. Yeah, you heard that right, 247! I started making a list, you know, just to keep track of things.
- First, I jotted down all the cards from the base set, all 196 of them.
- Then I moved onto the secret rare cards which were 21 of them.
- Finally, there were these special “trainer gallery” cards, 30 of those.
I started checking off the cards I already had. I used a simple checkbox system. You know, just to visually see my progress. Seeing those boxes ticked off, it’s weirdly satisfying.
It took some time, to say the least, and I began to get some cards’ names.
For example, I found out that there is a card called “Oddish,” and it’s a common one. It can be a standard one or a reverse one. I wrote these down in my checklist.
I also noticed that this set was released on September 9, 2022. It’s the eleventh one in this “Sword & Shield” series, whatever that means. Apparently, there’s a card called “Giratina V #186/196” that’s a big deal in this set. I made a mental note to keep an eye out for that one.
I kept adding to my list, going through all these images of the cards. It was a bit of a grind, to be honest, but I was determined to get a handle on this whole Lost Origin thing.
Eventually, I felt like I had a pretty good grasp of the set, and it is satisfying to see all these names in my list.

Finally, I got a complete list of all the cards in the set!
It was a fun journey through the whole process. And I’m ready to do more exploration like this.
