Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with some Leon Kennedy figures lately, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I’ve always been a huge fan of Resident Evil, especially Leon, so I figured, why not dive deep into the world of action figures?
Getting Started
First off, I started by looking around online to see what’s out there. There’s a bunch of stuff, from those cute little rubber duckies to some seriously detailed statues. I saw some handmade custom ones which were pretty cool, but some were way too expensive for me. Anyway, I found some of those Funko Pop ones, and those were in my budget, so I grabbed one of those to start.
Expanding the Collection
After getting that first one, I got a bit hooked. I mean, who wouldn’t be? So I started looking for more. I found a few online stores that had some unique and custom-made figures, and I even saw a 3D-printed one that looked awesome. The prices varied a lot, some were like $107.29, while some others were around $43.54, so there was something for everyone.
Diving Deeper
I really wanted to get something that looked like the actual Leon from the games, you know? The one that looks like that model, Eduard Badaluta. Apparently, he’s a Romanian model who did the character model for Leon in the Resident Evil 2 and 4 remakes. Pretty cool, right? Anyway, I wanted something that looked like him, so I kept looking.
Exploring the Details
I found some that had a ton of detail, especially those from the original Resident Evil 4 game. Those had all the little accessories and props, which made them look super cool. I ended up ordering one of those because I just had to have it. It wasn’t cheap, but man, it was worth it.
Building the Scene
Once I had a few figures, I started thinking about how to display them. I saw some people had made dioramas, which are basically little scenes. I found one that was a Leon S. Kennedy diorama from one of the games, and it was $245.00. That was a bit out of my price range, but it gave me some ideas.
Making It My Own
So, I decided to try and make my own little scene. I used some old boxes, some paint, and a few other bits and pieces to create a backdrop. It’s not as fancy as those professional ones, but it’s mine, and I like it. I put my Leon figures in there, and it looks pretty awesome, if I do say so myself.
Sharing the Fun
I thought, why not share this with others? So, here I am, writing about my little adventure with Leon Kennedy figures. It’s been a lot of fun collecting them, finding the right ones, and even making my own little display. I’ve learned a lot along the way, and I hope maybe someone else will get inspired to start their own collection or make their own diorama.
Final Thoughts
Collecting these figures has been a blast. It’s not just about having them on a shelf, but also about the whole process of finding them, learning about their history, and then creating something unique with them. If you’re a fan of Resident Evil or just like collecting cool stuff, I totally recommend giving it a try. You might find yourself hooked, just like I did.
And hey, if you do start collecting, or if you already have some, I’d love to hear about it. Maybe we can even swap some tips or trade some figures. Who knows? The world of Leon Kennedy figures is vast and full of surprises, and I’m here for all of it!
