Okay, so, I wanted to mess around with this “Prince Xizor” thing. I’d heard about it, but, like, never really got into it. First thing I did was just search for it online to see what I could find. You know, get the basic gist of it.

I found some stuff about this guy, “Niccolo Machiavelli,” who wrote something called “The Prince.” Seems like it’s some kind of old book about, I don’t know, power and politics or something. I skimmed through some summaries of the chapters online, just to get a feel for it.
Then, I stumbled upon some flashcards, you know, those things people use to study? It had some random terms like “binary format” and “CodePlex.” I didn’t really understand what they had to do with Prince Xizor, but I made a note of them anyway, figuring they might come in handy later. Might as well, right?
Next, I started getting into the actual story or whatever it is. I read something about a character named “Equality 7-2521” and another one called “International 4-8818.” They were talking about some tunnel that they thought was theirs alone. Sounded kinda mysterious, so I kept that in mind.
There was also some background info on Machiavelli himself. Apparently, he was born in Florence, Italy, way back in 1469. Seems like his childhood was pretty chill, which is cool, I guess. Then, more flashcards! This time, they were about the name someone called “the Golden One” gave to Equality 7-2521. Still not sure how all this fits together, but I kept digging.
- I saw this random post about drawing and painting.
- It had this “5-day flower drawing challenge.”
- Sounded completely unrelated, but I saved it anyway.
I even watched some talk about “feature flagging” and “LaunchDarkly.” It was about machine learning and production workflows, I think. I noted the terms “Trajectory” and “Pounce,” ’cause why not? More flashcards popped up, and I just jotted down the letters “c” and “a” because they were on there. I was just trying to absorb everything, you know?
Finally, I felt like I had enough random bits and pieces to start piecing together my own understanding of this “Prince Xizor” thing. It was a mess, but it was my mess. Still don’t know what is going on really, but that’s okay.
To be honest
I still don’t know if I actually understand what Prince Xizor is all about. Maybe it’s a book, maybe it’s a game, maybe it’s something else entirely. But I’ve got a bunch of notes, and I guess that’s a start. I might try to find more info later, or I might just move on to something else. We’ll see.
