Okay, so I got into this whole “Mayans M.C.” thing, right? This TV show, it’s like a spin-off from “Sons of Anarchy,” but I hadn’t even watched that one. Anyway, I started watching “Mayans M.C.” because everyone was talking about it, especially when season two dropped. I remember it was a Monday night when I finally gave in and started watching.

First off, I had to figure out where to watch it. I checked around and found out I could watch it on Disney+ or Hulu since I had subscriptions there. If you don’t have those, you can buy it on Fandango at Home, Prime Video, or Apple TV. I went with Hulu because it was just easier for me at the time.
I started with season 3, episode 2. Don’t ask me why I skipped ahead. I just did. Maybe I was impatient, or maybe I just wanted to see what the hype was about in the newer episodes. So I dove right in. I got comfortable, grabbed some snacks, and started watching. The show was intense! Lots of drama, action, and those biker gang vibes. I was hooked pretty quickly. I ended up binging a bunch of episodes that week.
I was so into it that I started looking up stuff about the actors. And then, boom, I stumbled upon this really sad news about Kate Kaufling, a cheerleader from the University of Kentucky dance team. She had passed away. She was only 20, way too young. It was a real downer, especially after getting caught up in the excitement of the show. The University of Kentucky even posted a statement about it. It was all over the internet.
Then, as if that wasn’t enough, I saw something about Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales. She had released a video talking about her cancer treatment. I gotta say, that video was something else. It was brave of her to share her story like that. People were saying she gave hope to others going through the same thing.
So, yeah, it all started with me just wanting to watch that “Mayans M.C.” show. I found a way to watch it, got totally sucked in, then ended up reading about some really heavy stuff about a cheerleader and a princess. Life’s weird like that, huh? You start with a TV show, and then you’re suddenly hit with real-life stories that make you stop and think. Crazy.
