Alright, let’s talk about this Kartana thing, whatever it is. Sounds like one of them Pokey-mans my grandson is always yellin’ about.
So, you wanna catch a real strong one, a “hundo” they call it? Means it’s the best, I guess. Like a prize-winning pumpkin at the county fair, but for these little critter things.
Now, from what I hear, these Kartanas, they show up in different places. Sometimes in them “Raids,” sounds like a bunch of folks gatherin’ to catch one. Other times, you get ’em from doin’ research or battlin’. Don’t ask me, I just repeat what the young’uns tell me.
If you catch one in a Raid, a regular one’s gonna be around 2101 somethin’ or other. But if the weather’s right, it gets stronger, like 2626. That’s the one you want, the weather-boosted one. Makes sense, I guess. Sunshine makes my tomatoes grow bigger, so why not make a Pokey-man stronger too?
What weather makes Kartana stronger?
- They say Sunny or Clear weather is good. Makes its grass moves stronger, whatever that means. Like givin’ it extra fertilizer, I reckon.
- Some folks also say Snowy weather helps too. Kinda weird, snow and sunshine both doin’ the same thing, but hey, I ain’t no weather expert.
So, if it’s sunny or snowy out, that’s when you wanna go huntin’ for this Kartana. More likely to find a strong one then, a real hundo, they say.
Now, catchin’ this thing ain’t easy, from what I hear. Takes a couple of people, maybe even more if your Pokey-mans ain’t strong enough. And even then, it might run away. Like tryin’ to catch a greased pig at the fair, I imagine.
How strong is a weather boosted Kartana?
If you’re lucky enough to catch a weather-boosted Kartana, its “CP,” whatever that is, will be between 2512 and 2626. That’s the number you’re lookin’ for. Higher the better, just like a good price for corn at the market.
And this Kartana, it’s got different moves, like “Air Slash” and “Razor Leaf.” Sounds dangerous, like a hawk swoopin’ down to catch a mouse. And some other moves, too, like “Aerial Ace.” Makes my head spin, all these fancy names.
How to beat Kartana?
They say fire Pokey-mans are good against it. Something about “Mega Blaziken” bein’ the best. Sounds like a rooster on fire, if you ask me. But hey, if it works, it works.
Seems like a lot of work for a little critter, but these young’uns, they sure are obsessed. Reminds me of when I used to collect stamps, I guess. Everyone’s gotta have their hobby.
So, to sum it up, if you want a strong Kartana, a “hundo,” you gotta wait for sunny or snowy weather, get some friends together, and have some strong fire Pokey-mans. And even then, you might not catch it. But that’s half the fun, I guess, the chasin’ after somethin’.
Just like tryin’ to get that prize-winning pumpkin, you gotta work hard, have a little luck, and hope the weather cooperates. And if you don’t get it this time, well, there’s always next year, or next Raid, or whatever they call it.
And if you do catch one, remember, it ain’t nothin’ compared to the size of a watermelon I grew in ‘89. Now that was somethin’ to brag about!
