Alright, let’s talk about this Heroscape Wave 2 thing. I heard folks sayin’ it’s good, so I figured I’d take a look, you know? See what all the fuss is about.
First off, they got these Marro Drones. People are sayin’ you need a whole bunch of ’em, like three sets or somethin’. I guess it makes ’em stronger or somethin’. They can move and attack real far, they say. Nine spaces? That’s a lot, ain’t it? Sounds like they could be trouble.
Then there’s the knights. Now, I like knights. They seem strong and sturdy. But these Heroscape folks, they say you gotta go to some website, heroscape somethin’ or other, to figure out which ones to get. Too much work if you ask me. Just give me a good knight and I’m happy. But they say some knights come with other packs, and maybe you like those heroes too. See, it gets complicated.
And the Minutemen and Wolves? They say those are good too. Work well with some forest guy, I dunno. Seems like you need a whole bunch of stuff to make these things work right. It ain’t like the old days when you just had a few toys and you played with ’em. Now you gotta have this and that and the other thing. Makes my head spin, it does.
- Marro Drones: Need a bunch, move and attack far.
- Knights: Strong, but gotta find the right ones.
- Minutemen and Wolves: Work with other forest guys.
Some folks, they say you need at least two of each common squad. Vipers and Venoc Warlord, they go together too, apparently. Synergy, they call it. Sounds fancy, but I guess it just means they work good together. Like biscuits and gravy, you know? They’re good on their own, but they’re better together.
It’s all about strategy, I guess. Which figures to get first, how to make ’em work together. There’s even a whole website, Heroscapers somethin’, where they talk about all this stuff. People got way too much time on their hands, if you ask me.
But I gotta say, these Wave 2 figures, they seem useful. Whether you’re playin’ with the new stuff or the old stuff, they fit right in. At least that’s what I hear. I ain’t played with ’em myself, mind you. Just tellin’ you what I heard.
They talk about unique squads and common squads and heroes and all that. Makes it sound complicated. But I guess if you break it down, it ain’t so bad. Nine unique squads, a whole bunch of common squads, and some heroes. That’s a lot of figures, though. Where you gonna keep ’em all?
So, overall, this Heroscape Wave 2 seems like a good thing if you’re into this kinda stuff. Lots of figures, lots of ways to play. Just gotta figure out what you want and how to make it all work together. And you might need a bigger house to keep all them figures, I tell you what.
Me? I think I’ll stick to my chickens and garden. Less complicated, you know? But if you like these kinds of games, this Wave 2 thing might be right up your alley. Just don’t ask me to explain all that strategy stuff. My brain ain’t wired for that kind of thinkin’. I just like things simple.
And another thing, don’t spend all your money on these little figures! You gotta save for a rainy day, you know? These things ain’t gonna feed you when you’re old. Just saying.
