Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with Pokemon cards lately, you know, just like in the good old days. And I got this itch to figure out the price of this Hatterene VMAX card I pulled. It’s a shiny one from the Crown Zenith set, number GG47, if you’re into that stuff.
First, I hit up a couple of those price guide websites. You know the type, they track all the sales and give you the going rate for cards. Just typed in “Hatterene VMAX GG47” and boom, there’s a bunch of listings. Most of them were around the same price range, which is a good start, I guess.
Digging a Little Deeper
But then, I wanted to see if there was a difference between graded and ungraded cards. I stumbled upon this PSA site – I guess they’re like the big shots in card grading. They have this auction price thing where you can look up what cards have sold for. Took a bit of digging, but I eventually found some Hatterene VMAX listings there too. Seems like graded ones, especially the perfect 10s, go for a bit more. Who knew?
Checking Out Different Sets
Then my brain started wondering about other Hatterene VMAX cards. I knew there was one from the Japanese VSTAR Universe set, number 66. So, I did the same thing, searched for it on those price guide sites. The prices were a little different, some higher, some lower. It’s kinda wild how the market fluctuates, right?
After that, I started noting down the prices in a little table. It made it easier to compare.
- Hatterene VMAX GG47 (Crown Zenith): $* (ungraded), $* (PSA 10)
- Hatterene VMAX 66 (Crown Zenith): $*
- Hatterene VMAX 66 (VSTAR Universe): $*
It is interesting to see how the values change depending on the set and condition.
Anyways, that’s pretty much how I spent my afternoon – diving deep into the world of Pokemon card prices. I just wanted to share my little adventure. Hope you found it somewhat interesting!
