Man, I gotta tell you about this awesome project I just finished. I’m a huge Harry Potter fan, and I’ve always wanted to have some of those golden minifigures from the 20th-anniversary Lego sets. But I didn’t want to buy all the sets just for those figures, you know? So, I decided to get just the ones I wanted separately.

First, I did some digging online to see which sets had the golden minifigures. I found out that Harry Potter himself came with the Hogwarts: Polyjuice Potion Mistake set, which is one of the smaller ones, so that was a good start.
Hunting for the Golden Minifigures
- Started with Harry Potter: 76386 Hogwarts: Polyjuice Potion Mistake. It was the cheapest way to get golden Harry.
- Looked up Ron Weasley: 76388 Hogsmeade Village Visit. This one is more like the older sets.
- Discovered that I needed 76392 Hogwarts Wizard’s Chess for Professor Snape.
- Found out 76387 Hogwarts: Fluffy Encounter had Hermione.
- Realized 76389 Hogwarts Chamber of Secrets was the one with Lord Voldemort.
So, I started searching for these sets online, you know, to find the best prices, because they are not very cheap. I checked out a bunch of different websites, and I even looked at some local stores, but their prices were way too high. Finally, I found this one website that had all of them for a pretty reasonable price.
Getting Them
I ordered all of them at once, because why not? And let me tell you, waiting for them to arrive was torture! Every day, I was checking the tracking information, hoping they would come sooner. Finally, the day came when they were all delivered. I was so excited, I ripped open the boxes right away!
And there they were, all shiny and golden. They looked even better in person than they did in the pictures. I carefully took out all five: Harry, Ron, Hermione, Snape, and even Voldemort. I put them on display on my shelf, and they look absolutely amazing.
Honestly, it was so worth it. Now I have these awesome golden minifigures without having to buy a bunch of sets I didn’t really need. If you’re a Harry Potter fan, you should totally do this. It’s a great way to get those special minifigures without spending a fortune.
