Alright, so, y’know, they had this big “Friends” get-together thing on TV, right? A “reunion” they called it. Like, all them folks from that show, back together again. Jennifer Aniston, that pretty one, and the rest of ‘em.

Now, I ain’t no spring chicken, but even I watched a bit of “Friends” back in the day. It was on all the time, y’know? Them young folks in the city, always gettin’ into somethin’. Made me chuckle sometimes, even if half the time I didn’t get what they were on about.
So, this reunion thing, it wasn’t like a regular show, see? They weren’t playin’ their characters, like Monica and Chandler and all them. It was more like them actors, just bein’ themselves, talkin’ about the old days. David Schwimmer, he played that Ross fella, he said they never even thought about doin’ another real episode. Said it just wasn’t in the cards.
And lemme tell ya, they paid them actors a pretty penny to do this thing. I heard it was somethin’ like two and a half, maybe even three million dollars each! Can you imagine? For just sittin’ around and talkin’! Land sakes, that’s more money than I’ve seen in my whole life!
Now, some folks were missin’. Like that fella, Paul Rudd, who played Mike. He wasn’t there. They said he was busy, couldn’t make it. Guess he had other things to do. They tried to get everyone, but, well, schedules and all that, it’s hard to wrangle everybody, y’know? Like tryin’ to get chickens back in the coop, they scatter every which way.
They had this poster for the reunion, though. I seen some pictures of it. Nothin’ fancy, just them six actors smilin’ and lookin’ happy. Folks are sellin’ ‘em online, different kinds too. Some are just regular paper, some are on canvas, like a real picture. They even got folks makin’ their own, unique ones, with different designs and whatnot.
- They got posters with them actors just standin’ there.
- Some posters have ‘em on that orange couch from the show, you remember that couch? Always sittin’ on that couch.
- And then there’s folks sellin’ old posters, like that one they had in Monica’s apartment, that picture of toys, from way back when. Folks are always lookin’ for that kinda stuff, collectibles they call ‘em.
I even heard tell of a fella who sells posters and comics, old and new. He probably had a field day with this reunion thing, sellin’ all sorts of “Friends” stuff. He probably had posters from the original show too, imagine that! Those things are probably worth a fortune now.
Anyways, this whole reunion thing, it just goes to show ya, people still love that show, even after all these years. They love them characters, them actors, the whole shebang. And they’re willin’ to spend good money on posters and whatnot, just to remember it all. It’s like keepin’ a piece of somethin’ special, y’know? Like holdin’ onto a picture of your grandkids, makes you smile just lookin’ at it.
So, that’s the gist of it, this “Friends” reunion thing. A whole lotta hoopla, a whole lotta money, and a whole lotta posters. And if you ask me, it’s all just a bit of fun, nothin’ to get too worked up about. Just folks rememberin’ somethin’ they liked. And ain’t nothin’ wrong with that, now is there?
