Okay, so, I’ve been playing a ton of Pokemon Go lately, and I really wanted to get a Ferrothorn. You know, that spiky, metal-looking dude? He’s pretty cool, and I figured he’d be a good addition to my team. So, the first thing I had to do was catch a Ferroseed, which is the little guy that evolves into Ferrothorn.
I started walking around my neighborhood, checking all the usual spots where Pokemon like to hang out. I used a bunch of Incense and Lures to attract more Pokemon. Finally, I found a Ferroseed! I caught it, and that was one step closer to getting my Ferrothorn.
Next, I needed to get a hold of 50 Ferroseed Candies. This was the tricky part, but not too bad. Every time I caught a Ferroseed, I got some Candies. I also used those Pinap Berries – they give you double the Candies when you catch a Pokemon. Then I transferred extra Ferroseeds to Professor Willow for even more Candies. I set a Ferroseed as my Buddy Pokemon, so I got some extra Candies while I was walking around. So after a few days of playing, I finally had enough to evolve my Ferroseed.
I went into my Pokemon storage, found my Ferroseed with the highest CP, and hit that “Evolve” button. Boom! There it was, my very own Ferrothorn. He’s a Grass and Steel-type, just like Ferroseed, but way bigger and tougher. It’s Level 40 now. No special items or conditions needed besides that.
Some other players told me how to quickly defeat Ferroseed:
- Mega Charizard Y
- Shadow Charizard
- Shadow Infernape
- Shadow Blaziken
It was a bit of a grind to get all those Candies, but it was totally worth it. Now I have a Ferrothorn to battle with, and I’m pretty stoked about it. If you’re trying to get one too, just keep catching those Ferroseeds and stock up on those Candies. You’ll get there!
