Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to talk about this whole “Ferals” comic thing for a while now. It all started when I stumbled upon this title, “Ferals,” and I thought, “Hey, that sounds interesting.” I mean, who doesn’t love a good werewolf story, right?
So, I started digging around. Apparently, it’s by this guy David Lapham, and it’s supposed to be all gory and full of, uh, adult themes. That got me curious, so I decided to give it a read.
The story kicks off with this dude, Officer Dale Chesnutt, finding a guy ripped to shreds. That set off the whole thing. Chesnutt then starts investigating, and let me tell you, it gets messy. There’s blood, guts, and all sorts of nastiness. They are trying to figure out what happened to that guy. I mean, who did this to him? And why?
Then I found something related to “American Horror Stories,” saying that it kinda flips the whole Bigfoot thing, but that’s a whole other rabbit hole. I also stumbled upon this other comic where some house cats have to survive a rabies outbreak, which, honestly, sounds kinda cute in a twisted way. And there’s this “Giant Days” comic too, about three girls who become best friends – I guess that’s the lighter side of things.
After reading and reading, I realized that “Ferals” is just the beginning. There’s this “Ferals: Unleashed” thing that’s supposed to continue the story. I guess they really want to milk this werewolf cow, huh?
Anyway, I ended up spending a whole afternoon just going through all this stuff. It’s a wild ride, that’s for sure. I guess if you’re into werewolves, horror, and a bit of the “mature” stuff, you might like “Ferals.” I still have some mixed feelings about it. It’s predictable but also… weirdly intriguing?
So yeah, that was my little adventure into the world of “Ferals.” It’s not something I’d recommend to everyone, but it definitely left an impression.
