Well, ya know, this here show called “The Walking Dead” has been around for quite a while now. Folks sure do talk a lot about it, specially the third season. This season, it was a big deal. Critics, them fancy folks who write for the big newspapers, they sure liked it, said it was one of the best. They gave it a high score, 82 outta 100! That’s a real good number, ain’t it? Means it got a lotta thumbs up from the people watchin’ it.

Now, the story in Season 3, well, it ain’t like any ol’ zombie show. It’s got them walkers, of course, but it’s all about family. See, when the world done gone to pieces, and there’s zombies all around, folks gotta stick together. You can’t trust nobody, but you gotta protect your own, even if it means doing things ya never thought you’d do. That’s what they call “A New Frontier.” Real dramatic stuff, if you ask me.
One thing people always remember ’bout this season is the new folks we meet. Now, there’s a whole bunch of prisoners introduced right at the start. There’s Axel, Oscar, Andrew, Tomas, and Big Tiny. Now, don’t go gettin’ too attached to Big Tiny, ’cause he don’t last long. He gets taken out real quick in the very next episode! Some folks were upset, but hey, that’s how it goes in a world full of zombies.
And don’t forget about the poster. Oh lord, that poster! When AMC put it out, it got people talkin’. They showed Rick Grimes, the main fella, all tough-lookin’ with his hat and his gun. He looks like he’s ready to shoot down any walker that comes his way. That poster was all over, like a big ol’ ad that made folks wanna watch that season. Ain’t no surprise it got folks all excited for what’s comin’ next. I reckon it worked, too. The season started back in October 2012, and folks been watchin’ ever since.
But that ain’t the only big news. When AMC announced the last season of “The Walking Dead,” it sure got folks talkin’ again. They said it was gonna be the big finale, the end of the whole series. Ain’t that somethin’? They told folks it was gonna have 24 episodes, and it would air all the way into 2022. That’s a lotta zombies, don’t ya think?
And now, folks still talk ‘bout them posters. They keep on makin’ new ones, showin’ all the characters, like they do with every season. I reckon them posters are a big part of the show, gettin’ folks excited for the new season to come. Every season, they just keep on making ‘em. People love ‘em, I guess. I remember when they first showed the season 3 one, folks couldn’t stop talkin’ ‘bout it. “Did ya see Rick on that poster? He looks real mad!” they said. Well, of course, he’s mad! There’s zombies all over the place, what’s he supposed to do, smile?
But, back to that season, they really stepped it up in season 3. The drama, the action, all the struggles between the living and the dead. It gets real intense, that’s for sure. People can’t get enough of it. They just keep watchin’ to see who survives next and how the story ends up. Will Rick and the gang survive all them walkers? Or will they find themselves caught up in more trouble than they can handle? Well, we’ll just have to see, won’t we?
Now, if you’re like me, you don’t watch every episode on the same night, but you sure do hear all the buzz ‘bout it. Folks in town talk ‘bout it all the time. “Did you see the last episode? Can you believe what happened to that fella?!” It’s like a never-ending conversation. Ain’t no one gonna forget “The Walking Dead,” that’s for sure.
