Well now, you know, I ain’t one to talk much about these fancy cards and all, but I do know a thing or two about what’s good for the kids when it comes to this Crimson Invasion thing. It’s a big ol’ set, and a lot of people are buzzing ‘bout it. But lemme tell ya, it ain’t all that easy to pull them good ones, no sir. I mean, you might be lucky, but most folks end up with a pile of cards that ain’t worth much more than kindlin’ for the fire.

This here “Crimson Invasion” set came out on November 3rd, 2017. If you ask me, it’s a lotta hullabaloo over not much, unless you’re real good at pickin’ out the good ones. It’s got all these fancy “Ultra Beasts,” cards that mess with your opponent’s prize cards, or so they say. Don’t ask me what that means, ‘cause I just don’t know all the ins and outs of it, but it sure does sound complicated.
Now, the set has 111 cards in it, and plus a few of them secret rare ones, about 13 I reckon. But lemme warn ya, don’t go thinkin’ you’re gonna get them rare cards real easy. The chances are slim, real slim, like finding a needle in a haystack. If you’re wantin’ to get some nice cards for a little one, maybe you oughta be lookin’ at them Guardians Rising sets instead. I heard they got better odds of pullin’ out something decent.
So, this whole “Crimson Invasion” thing is all about them Ultra Beasts, them strange, red-colored creatures from another world. Ain’t that somethin’? The set features 30 normal Pokémon-GX cards, plus two secret rare ones. And I tell ya, outta them 30 normal ones, most of ’em ain’t that special. But, hey, some folks get real lucky, pull them cards and feel like they struck gold.
But that’s the thing with these here card sets: it’s a gamble. You just never know what you’re gonna get. You could end up with a heap of common cards, or you could get something that’s worth a pretty penny, maybe even more than that. Some of them cards, like them GX ones, they got some special power, or so I’m told. But I ain’t got no time for all that fancy talk.
Now, you might wonder what’s so special ‘bout these Ultra Beasts. Well, I reckon it’s ‘cause they ain’t like the usual Pokémon we’re used to. They don’t just go around fighting like regular critters; they mess with how the game works, messing with prize cards and such. Now, I ain’t sure how it all works, but I do know it ain’t for the faint of heart, not like them old-fashioned games we used to play with marbles or jacks.
If you’re lookin’ to collect these cards or maybe even get them graded, well, that’s a whole other thing. There’s prices all over the place for these cards, and I ain’t sure how folks figure out what they’re worth. But I know some of these fancy graded ones can fetch a nice price. If you got a rare one, well, you might find someone willing to trade ya a whole lot for it.
But like I said, it ain’t all that easy. You can’t just expect to get lucky every time. The pull rates are real low for those big ticket cards, and unless you’re one of the lucky few, you might find yourself sittin’ with a pile of cards that ain’t worth much more than a dollar or two.
So, if you’re out there lookin’ to get some cards for a kid, or if you just want to try your luck, go ahead and grab you a pack of “Crimson Invasion.” Just don’t go thinkin’ it’s all gonna be smooth sailing, ‘cause it’s a rough road, and you might end up with nothin’ but the usual run-of-the-mill cards. But hey, that’s the fun of it, right? You just never know what you’re gonna get.

What’s in the Crimson Invasion Set?
- 111 Cards + 13 Secret Rare Cards
- Ultra Beasts Theme
- 30 Regular Pokémon-GX Cards
- 2 Secret Rare Pokémon-GX Cards
- Low Pull Rates for Rare Cards
- Better Chances with Guardians Rising Sets for Kids
Is It Worth It?
Well, that all depends. If you’re lookin’ for fun and don’t mind takin’ a chance, then go ahead and give it a shot. But if you’re hopin’ for big wins, might wanna look elsewhere. It ain’t gonna be easy to pull them rare ones, that’s for sure. But if you’re a collector or a Pokémon fan, then it might be worth it just to have a piece of the collection, even if it’s not the most valuable card. Just don’t say I didn’t warn ya about them low pull rates!
