Today, I am gonna talk about how I beat Entei in Pokemon Go. Entei, man, it’s a legendary Fire Pokemon, and it’s no joke in those five-star raids. This thing is tough. So, I had to come up with a good strategy to take it down.

First off, I did some research. I found out that Entei is weak against Ground, Rock, and Water-type moves. That’s the key. Knowing your enemy’s weakness is half the battle, right?
Then, I looked at my Pokemon lineup. I needed some heavy hitters that could exploit those weaknesses. I went through my collection and picked out some of my strongest Pokemon.
- Primal Kyogre: This one was a no-brainer. It’s a beast with Water moves.
- Primal Groudon: Ground-type, super effective against Entei.
- Mega Swampert: Another Water-type powerhouse.
- Mega Garchomp: Ground and Dragon, but the Ground part is what we need.
- Shadow Kyogre and Shadow Groudon: If you have them, they’re amazing.
I also learned that Entei’s strongest moveset is Fire Fang and Overheat. It’s got a Max CP of 3, which means it hits hard. But most of my counters could take those hits. Except for Iron Head, which is a Steel move, but I figured I could handle that with other Pokemon if needed.
Now, about the weather. I read somewhere that it’s best to go in when it’s Partly Cloudy or Rainy. That boosts Ground and Water-type moves, giving you an extra edge. So I waited for the right weather.
When the day came, I teamed up with some other trainers. Raids are always better with friends. We went in, and I used my chosen team. I started with Primal Kyogre, blasting Entei with Water attacks. Then I switched to Primal Groudon, hitting it with those strong Ground moves.
The battle was intense. Entei is huge, looks like a lion with a smoky mane. It’s intimidating, but we kept at it. My Mega Swampert and Mega Garchomp did some serious damage too. And whenever Entei used Fire Fang or Overheat, my Pokemon resisted it pretty well.
The Result
Finally, after a tough fight, we beat Entei! It was a great feeling. Capturing it was the next step, and luckily, I managed to do that too. It took a few tries, but I got it in the end.
So, that’s my story of how I tackled Entei in Pokemon Go. It’s all about knowing the weaknesses, picking the right Pokemon, and maybe having a bit of luck with the weather. And of course, teaming up with other trainers makes it a lot more fun. If you’re going after Entei, I hope my experience helps you out. Good luck, and happy raiding!
