Alright, listen up, y’all. We gonna talk about some kinda fancy lands today, the kind they call “Dominaria United full art lands”. Don’t ask me what it all means, but I’ll tell ya what I know, the way I know it.
So, this “Dominaria United,” sounds like some big get-together, right? Like a town fair, but for them magic card folks. They say it’s the ninety-third magic somethin’-somethin’. Ninety-three! That’s more chickens than I ever had, and that’s sayin’ somethin’. This here thing came out September, uh, ninth, in twenty-twenty-two. Last year, see? Time flies faster than a rooster chasin’ a hen, I tell ya.
Now, these lands, they ain’t your regular ol’ dirt and rocks. They’re “full art,” meaning they got pictures all over ’em, like them stained-glass windows in the church, but, you know, for magic. Pretty, ain’t they? Folks go crazy for this kinda stuff, spendin’ their hard-earned cash on little pieces of cardboard. More power to ’em, I guess.
- Plains: They got one with a lotta sunshine and fields, looks like a good place to plant some corn.
- Island: This one’s got water, kinda like the creek down by my place, but bluer. And maybe a tower or two, ain’t no tower by my creek though, not unless you count that old oak tree.
- Swamp: Now this one’s spooky, with dead trees and murky water. Reminds me of that bog where old man Johnson lost his mule. Never did find that mule, poor thing.
- Mountain: This one’s got rocks, big ol’ rocks, bigger than any I’ve seen in these parts. Looks like a tough place to live, gotta say.
- Forest: And finally, trees, lots and lots of trees. Like the woods behind my house, but again, prettier. More colorful, ya know? Like when the leaves change in the fall, but all year round.
You can get these fancy lands in different ways, they say. “Draft,” “Set,” “Collector,” sounds like a bunch of gibberish to me. But I reckon it’s how them card folks buy and sell their stuff. Like goin’ to the market, I guess, but instead of tomatoes and eggs, you’re gettin’ these here lands.
They say you can find all five of ’em, all five of them full art Dominaria United lands, in them “Draft,” “Set” and “Collector” thingamajigs. Five of ’em. Like the fingers on your hand. Important, see? Each one different, each one special. Just like them chickens in my coop, each one lays a different kinda egg, or so it seems. Some big, some small, some brown, some white…you get the picture.
I don’t rightly understand all the fuss, but if it makes folks happy, then that’s their business. Me? I’m happy with my garden and my chickens. But these lands, they are kinda purdy, I’ll give ’em that. Like a fancy quilt, but on a card. And you know, folks like their quilts. Keeps ya warm in the winter, and these here Dominaria United full art lands, well, I guess they keep them magic folks happy in their own way. It ain’t my place to judge.
So, there ya have it. That’s all I know ’bout these here Dominaria United full art lands. Not much, I reckon, but enough to get you started. If you wanna know more, go ask one of them card folks. They’ll talk your ear off, I bet. Just make sure you bring a snack, ’cause they can go on and on, like a preacher on Sunday mornin’. But that’s their joy and who am I to take that away from them? These lands sure are somethin’ to look at, though.
Anyways, I gotta go feed them chickens. They’re gettin’ mighty restless. And maybe later, I’ll look at them pictures of them lands again. They’re kinda growin’ on me, ya know? Like a stray cat that keeps comin’ back for more milk. You start off not carin’ too much and then, before you know it, you’re attached. Maybe that’s the magic of it all, huh? Who knows? Not me, that’s for sure.
Dominaria United full art lands. Fancy names for some pretty pictures. That’s all they are to me, but like I said, more power to them that enjoy ’em.
