Well, let me tell ya about this Infinite Frontier thing, whatever that means.

What’s this Infinite Frontier All About?
So, from what I gather, it ain’t like starting everything all over again, ya know? They didn’t throw out all them old stories. Nope, they kept ’em. Even the really old ones, before that Flash fella messed things up, they brought ’em back too. It’s like they took all the comic books, shuffled ’em up, and said, “Yep, all this happened!” Ain’t that a mess? But, hey, that’s what they did, bless their hearts.
And they got new folks in there too, and some old faces comin’ back. It’s like a big ol’ family reunion, but with superheroes and whatnot. They say the writers can do whatever they want now, which sounds like a lot of trouble to me, but what do I know? I’m just an old woman.
Wonder Woman’s Got a New Job
So, Wonder Woman, that strong gal, she went and beat up this Batman Who Laughs fella. Scary name, that. Anyways, after that, these big shots, the Quintessence they call ’em, a bunch of fancy names I can’t even pronounce, they gave her a job. Said she saved the somethin’-verse, the Multiverse or whatever. Sounds like a whole lotta places to me. Too many, if you ask me. One world’s trouble enough.
- They got this Ganthet guy
- And Hera, that’s a lady’s name
- Highfather, sounds important
- Phantom Stranger, spooky!
- Spectre, even spookier!
- And The Wizard, like in them fairy tales
See? A whole bunch of ’em. Probably a lot of arguing going on with that crew.
Is It Any Good?
Well, some folks seem to like it. They say the pictures are purdy, and the stories are fun. And they like all them new and old characters runnin’ around. It’s like those old comics from back in the day, but, ya know, new. They say anyone can pick it up and enjoy it, which is good, I guess. Not too much thinkin’ involved, hopefully.

A Big Ol’ Relaunch
This Infinite Frontier thing, it’s a big deal for them comic book folks at DC. They call it a “relaunch,” like they’re startin’ fresh, but not really. It’s after that “New Justice” thing they did a while back. This fella, Joshua Williamson, he’s the one in charge of it all, makin’ sure everything makes sense, or as much sense as comic books ever do. I tell ya, it’s hard to keep up with all these changes. Back in my day, a hero was a hero, and a villain was a villain. Now, it’s all mixed up.
Jumpin’ In
So, they say it’s time to jump into this Infinite Frontier. It’s like steppin’ into a new world, but with all the old stuff still there. They’re startin’ in Gotham City, that dark and gloomy place where that Batman hangs out. Always somethin’ spooky goin’ on there.
Straightforward, They Say
And get this, they say it’s “straightforward” to start. Now, I don’t know about that. Nothin’ about these comic books seems straightforward to me. But maybe, just maybe, it’ll be easy to understand, even for an old lady like me. One thing’s for sure, they sure do like to make a big fuss about things.
The DC Universe Today
So, this Infinite Frontier, it’s what the DC Universe is all about now. It’s got everything all jumbled together. I hope they figure out what they are doing. It all sounds confusing to me, all these different worlds and characters and whatnot. But if you like that superhero stuff, maybe you’ll enjoy it. Me? I’ll stick to my soap operas. At least those make a lick of sense, most of the time.
