Alright, alright, let me tell you ’bout this Conan battle of the black stone thing. Don’t know much about fancy words or nothin’, but I’ll tell it like I see it.

So, there’s this fella, Conan, big and strong, like them fellas who used to work the fields back in the day, only tougher, ya know? He’s from some place called Cimmeria, sounds cold and windy if you ask me. And this Conan fella, he’s got himself in a heap of trouble, like always.
Seems he’s seeing things, shadows and such. Bad dreams, the kind that make you wake up sweatin’ and thankin’ the lord it ain’t real. But for Conan, these bad dreams, they ain’t just dreams. They got somethin’ to do with a black stone, a scary lookin’ thing with an eye carved on it. Gives me the shivers just thinkin’ about it.
This black stone ain’t no good luck charm, that’s for sure. It’s bringin’ somethin’ evil, somethin’ big and nasty. Like a storm cloud gatherin’ over the whole darn land, this Hyborian place, wherever that is. Conan, he’s gotta figure out what’s goin’ on before this evil thing swallows everyone whole.
- This “Battle of the Black Stone,” it ain’t just a little scuffle, it’s a whole big to-do. Sounds like a war is comin’, the kind that leaves the ground soaked in blood and tears.
- And this Jim Zub fella and that Jonas, they’re tellin’ the story. Don’t know them from Adam, but they sure know how to spin a yarn. Makes you feel like you’re right there with Conan, fightin’ alongside him.
- They talk about shadows growin’ longer, like the days gettin’ shorter in the winter. Only these shadows ain’t natural, they’re somethin’ else, somethin’ evil.
Heroic Signatures and Titan Comics, they’re the ones puttin’ this whole story together. Guess they know a good tale when they hear it. And this Conan, he’s been around a while, seems like. Folks keep tellin’ stories about him, fightin’ monsters and witches and whatnot. He’s a tough one, that Conan, but even tough folks get scared sometimes. And this black stone thing, it’s got him spooked.
Now, I ain’t read no comics myself, too busy with chores and keepin’ the chickens outta the garden. But my grandson, he’s always got his nose in one. He tells me all sorts of stories ’bout these superheroes and villains. This Conan, he sounds like one of the tough ones, the ones who don’t back down from a fight. He’s probably got muscles hard as rocks and a heart as big as a barn.
But even the strongest fella can’t fight evil alone. He’s gonna need help, gonna need some friends to watch his back. I hope he finds some good folks, folks he can trust. ‘Cause in this world, there’s always more snakes in the grass than you can shake a stick at. And this black stone, it sounds like the biggest snake of them all.
This whole Conan the Barbarian thing, it reminds me of them old stories my grandma used to tell, stories about good versus evil, about light fightin’ against the darkness. And even though these stories are just make-believe, they got a truth to ’em. They remind us that there’s always gonna be bad things in the world, but there’s always gonna be good people fightin’ against ’em. And that’s somethin’ worth rememberin’, ain’t it?
So, this Battle of the Black Stone, it sounds like a heck of a story. Full of action and adventure, like them old westerns they used to show at the picture show. I reckon Conan’s gonna have his hands full, fightin’ off them shadows and that evil black stone. But I’m rootin’ for him. He seems like a good fella, even if he is a bit rough around the edges. And besides, somebody’s gotta stand up to evil, right? Might as well be a big, strong fella from Cimmeria.

Anyways, that’s all I got to say about it. Just a simple story about a tough fella and a scary black stone. Hope it made some sense. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on them chickens again. Them darn things are always gettin’ into mischief.
