Clue 4K Review: Is the 2023 Upgrade Worth the Hype?

Well, let me tell ya, I watched this “Clue” movie in 4K, and oh boy, it sure ain’t like the old days when we used to sit around the fire with a good old mystery novel, but it’s somethin’ alright. Now, if you’re a fan of them fancy British murder mysteries, like them ones by Agatha Christie, this movie has a little bit of that feel to it, but don’t expect it to be all serious and gloomy. No sir, it mixes in some dark humor and a bit of fun. Now, they say it’s a comedy mystery, but don’t go thinkin’ you’ll be laughin’ all the time. It’s a tricky mix, but it gets the job done.

Now, let’s talk about this 4K thing. They got this old movie from 1985 and gave it a shiny new coat of paint. The picture quality is sharp, I mean, razor sharp! They really made everything look good, like you’re watchin’ it today instead of back then. The details on the characters and the whole set just pop right outta the screen. Some dark humor, too, so if you’re sensitive to that kinda thing, maybe it ain’t for you. But if you like a little bit of sharp wit with your mystery, you’ll probably enjoy it. The actors, too, they did a good job, though some parts of the movie, well, they don’t quite fit together. But hey, that’s just part of the fun, ain’t it?

And if you’re in a hurry, don’t worry – it’s a short movie, and it’ll be over before you know it, so you can go back to your other business or head on home after.
