CGC Authenticated Joe Jusko Signed Cards: A Collectors Guide

Alright, let me tell ya ’bout these CGC signin’s with that Joe Jusko fella, the one they say draws all them fancy pictures. Sounds like a big deal, so I figured I’d try and make sense of it for ya.

So, this CGC bunch, they’re the ones that look at your cards, you know, like them baseball cards or them Pokey-man cards the kids are always yappin’ ’bout. They tell ya if it’s real and how good of shape it’s in. Then they put it in this hard plastic thing, a “slab” they call it, so it stays nice. Well, seems like this Joe Jusko, he’s been signin’ some cards for ’em.

Now, they say these cards look real purdy in them yellow slabs. Must be somethin’ special, huh? I heard some fella sent in more than twenty-five cards! Said he sent in all sorts from ’92 and ’93. That’s a whole lotta cards, if you ask me.

They had this special signin’ event, a “private signin’” they called it. Means you had to send your cards in by a certain time. Think it was back in July, somethin’ like that. Tuesday the 23rd, I think I heard. If you missed it, well, I guess you missed out.

They say Joe Jusko, he’s real good at drawin’. A “world-renowned cover artist” they call him. Sounds fancy, don’t it? He’s done work for them comic books, the ones with all the superheros and such. So, gettin’ his signature on a card, that’s supposed to make it worth somethin’, I reckon.

Now, don’t go askin’ me how much these cards are worth. I ain’t got no clue ’bout that. They say you gotta look at what folks are payin’ for ’em on that eBay thing or what them big card dealers are sellin’ ’em for. CGC, they don’t tell ya what they’re worth. They just say if they’re real and how good they look.

CGC, they don’t just do comic book cards, mind you. They do all sorts. Them Pokey-man cards, them Magic cards, them Dragon Ball cards, and all sorts of sports cards too. Sounds like they got a lot goin’ on over there.

So, if you got some of them Joe Jusko cards signed by him through this CGC deal, well, good for you. Hope they’re worth a pretty penny. But remember, I ain’t no expert. I’m just tellin’ ya what I heard. You wanna know more, you gotta go ask someone who knows more than this old woman.

It seems like this whole card-collectin’ thing is a big to-do. People gettin’ all excited ’bout signatures and slabs and such. I guess it’s like anythin’ else, some folks like it, some folks don’t. Me? I’d rather have a good piece of apple pie, but that’s just me.
