Alright, alright, let’s talk about this… uh… Celesteela thingy, the one with the 100 IV. I don’t know what all them fancy words mean, but my grandkid told me it’s somethin’ special in that Pokey-man game, you know?
So, this Celesteela, it’s like a big ol’ rocket, or somethin’. Looks heavy, like it could squash a bug real good. They say it’s a Ultra Beast. Sounds scary, like it could eat your chickens, but I ain’t seen it do nothin’ like that yet.
Now, about catchin’ it. That’s the tricky part, like tryin’ to catch a greased pig at the county fair. They say the “catch rate” is low, somethin’ like 5.9%. That means you gotta throw a whole heap of them Pokey-balls to get it. I remember when we used to catch critters with our bare hands, none of this fancy ball stuff.
- First, you gotta find one of them Raids. They say it’s gonna be in them 5-Star Raids on July 10th, 2024. That’s right around when the corn’s gettin’ high, if I remember right.
- But here’s the kicker, it ain’t gonna be everywhere. Only in the Southern Hemisphere. That’s like… down under, right? Not in my backyard, that’s for sure. Guess them folks down south get all the luck.
- And then there’s this IV thing. My grandkid says you want a “100 IV” Celesteela, ’cause that’s the bestest one you can get. It’s like pickin’ the plumpest watermelon outta the patch. You want the one with the best “stats,” whatever that means.
They got these charts and numbers and all, tellin’ you how strong it is. Somethin’ about “CP” and “IVs” from 10/10/10 to 15/15/15. Sounds like a bunch of gibberish to me, but the young’uns seem to understand it. The higher the numbers, the better, I guess. They even got colors, green is good, they say.
So, how do you get this perfect Celesteela? Well, you gotta fight it in them Raids, with a whole bunch of other folks. And then you gotta throw them Pokey-balls, lots and lots of ’em. And pray to the good Lord that you get lucky. It’s like fishin’, sometimes you catch a big one, sometimes you just get a boot.
And this friendship thing, it says “Base Friendship 0 (lower than normal)”. Sounds like this Celesteela is a bit of a grumpy ol’ thing, doesn’t it? Not like my dog, Sparky, he loves everybody. Maybe you gotta give it some berries or somethin’ to make it happy.
Now, I heard tell there’s another one of them Ultra Beasts comin’ out at the same time, name of Kartana. But that’s a whole ‘nother story for a different day. Right now, we’re focused on this Celesteela and gettin’ that perfect 100 IV.
So, good luck to all you youngsters tryin’ to catch this thing. It ain’t gonna be easy, but nothin’ worth havin’ ever is. Just remember to bring lots of Pokey-balls, and maybe a lucky charm. And if you do catch one of them 100 IV Celesteelas, well, you can come show this old lady what all the fuss is about.
And don’t forget to have fun! It’s just a game, after all. Like when I used to play marbles as a kid, it was all about havin’ a good time, win or lose. Nowadays, these games are just too complicated for this old brain of mine. But, I do enjoy seeing the youngsters excited about it. It reminds me of when I was young and full of energy.
Remember to be patient. Sometimes it takes a while to get what you want. Just like growing a good crop of tomatoes, you gotta water them, take care of them and wait for them to ripen. Same thing with this Celesteela. You gotta keep trying, and eventually, you’ll get that perfect one.
And that’s about all I know about this Celesteela thingy. Hope it helps y’all out. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on my chickens.
