Alright, so you wanna know about these, uh, bloodsport figures, right? Okay, okay, lemme tell ya what I know. It ain’t rocket science, mind you. It’s just… things. Little plastic things, mostly.

First off, you got yer action figures. You know, like them dolls kids play with, but for boys… or girls who like punchin’ stuff, I guess. They got all sorts of these. I seen some that look like that fella, Jean-Claude Van Damme. Yeah, that kicky fella. They call him “Deluxe Figure” and make him wear a blue… gee? Gi? Whatever them karate clothes are called. Diamond Select Toys, they make ‘em, I heard. Fancy, huh?
Then you got yer Suicide Squad ones. McFarlane Toys, they’re the ones makin’ those. They call it “DC Multiverse” somethin’ somethin’. And if you collect enough of ‘em, you can build a King Shark! Imagine that, a big ol’ shark man! Sounds fishy to me, ha!
- Action figures: Like dolls, but for… well, you know.
- Statues: These ain’t for playin’, just for lookin’ at.
- Collectibles: Anything you can hoard, really.
- Pop! Vinyl Figures: Big heads, little bodies. Kinda cute, kinda weird.
Now, some of these ain’t toys at all. They call ‘em statues. Just for showin’ off, I reckon. Put ‘em on a shelf, dust ‘em off every now and then. Not my cup of tea, but some folks like ‘em. And then there’s the “collectibles.” That’s just a fancy word for stuff people wanna collect. Could be anything, really. Stamps, coins, these here bloodsport figures… you name it.
Oh, and them Pop! Vinyl Figures. I seen them too. Big ol’ heads on tiny bodies. Kinda funny lookin’, if you ask me. But folks go crazy for ‘em. Entertainment Earth, they sell a bunch of ‘em, I think. And they say somethin’ about free shippin’. Not that I buy any of this stuff, mind you. I got better things to spend my money on, like grits and sweet tea.
I even heard tell of a “Bloodsport II” movie! Somethin’ about “The Next Kumite.” Sounds like more fightin’. Alan Mehrez, he done directed it and produced it, whoever he is. Probably more kickin’ and punchin’. Not my kind of picture show. I like them good old romantic ones, you know, where folks sing and dance.
And get this, they had some of these things at somethin’ called SDCC 2024. Prototypes, they called ‘em. That’s just a fancy word for “not finished yet,” I reckon. But folks got all excited about it. Go figure. People get excited about the strangest things these days.
So, there you have it. Bloodsport figures. Action figures, statues, collectibles, big-headed dolls… it’s all a bit much for me. But if you like that sort of thing, well, go on and collect ‘em all. Just don’t expect me to understand it. I’m just an old woman who likes her sittin’ chair and a good cup of coffee.
And listen, don’t be spendin’ all your money on these things, alright? You gotta save for a rainy day, you hear? And make sure you eat your vegetables. That’s more important than any plastic figure, let me tell you. Now, go on, git. You’ve bothered me enough.

Remember, these are just things. They don’t make you a better person, or a tougher person, or anything like that. It’s what’s inside that counts, you know? Kindness, hard work, a good heart… that’s what matters. Not some plastic toy.
And another thing, these companies, they just want your money. Diamond Select Toys, McFarlane Toys, Entertainment Earth… they’re all the same. They make these things, and then they get you all hyped up to buy ‘em. Don’t fall for it, I say. Be smart with your money.
Anyways, that’s all I know ‘bout these bloodsport figures. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. Biscuits and gravy tonight, I think. Now, that’s somethin’ worth gettin’ excited about.
