Okay, so I saw that Blaziken was coming back to raids, and I thought, “Hey, I could really use a strong Fire-type attacker.” I’ve been playing for a while, but I never really focused on getting a good Blaziken. This time, I was determined to not only catch one but to really prepare for it.

First things first, I checked the weather. I wanted to do it when it’s sunny or clear to give fire types a little boost. Then, I started looking at what I already had in my storage. I knew that I needed some strong counters, you know, the types that Blaziken is weak against, like water, flying, ground, or psychic types.
I had a pretty decent Kyogre and a Groudon from past events, so I decided to power them up a bit. I also had a Mewtwo, but it wasn’t quite as strong as I’d like, so I used some Rare Candies and TMs to get it ready for battle. I figured it’s better to use them now than let them sit there doing nothing, right?
- Gathered my best counters: Kyogre, Groudon, and Mewtwo.
- Checked their moves and made sure they had the best ones for this raid.
- Powered them up as much as I could with the Stardust and Candies I had.
Then I thought about my team. I knew I couldn’t do this alone, so I reached out to my local group. We have this chat where we organize raids and stuff. I posted a message asking if anyone wanted to join me for a Blaziken raid, and thankfully, a few people were up for it. We agreed on a time and place that worked for everyone.
On the day of the raid, I made sure my phone was fully charged, and I bought a few extra Premium Raid Passes just in case. When we all met up, we jumped into the raid lobby. Seeing Blaziken pop up on the screen got me all pumped up!
We started the battle, and man, it was intense! My Kyogre was doing some serious damage with Hydro Pump, and Groudon’s Earthquake was super effective. Mewtwo was holding its own too, blasting away with Psychic. We were all tapping away like crazy, dodging attacks and using our charged moves whenever we could. It was a bit tough, but we were doing great as a team!
Finally, we took Blaziken down with a few seconds to spare! It was such a rush. Then came the best part – catching it. I used a Golden Razz Berry on every throw and tried my best to get those excellent throws. I was down to my last Premier Ball, and with a little luck, I caught it!
I checked its stats, and it was pretty good! Not perfect, but definitely a strong one. I was so happy to finally have a powerful Blaziken on my team. All that preparation really paid off, and it was awesome to share the victory with my friends.
So, that’s how my Blaziken raid went down. It was a great experience, and I’m looking forward to using it in future battles. If you’re planning on doing a Blaziken raid, I hope my experience helps you out!

A little advice
- Make sure you prepare your team well with the right counters.
- Team up with other players to make the raid easier.
- Don’t give up, and have fun!
