Okay, so, today was a pretty big day in Pokemon Go. We had this Kyurem raid, and I jumped in with both feet. It all started this morning when I saw the announcement. Kyurem, the Boundary Pokemon, was going to be available in five-star raids. I love these big raid events. They really get the community together.

I quickly texted a few friends in my local Pokemon Go group to see who was interested, and the response was huge! It’s always cool to see how many people are still into it. We decided to meet up at the Brookfield Square Mall. It’s a great spot, with a bunch of gyms close together, and it’s easy for everyone to get to. Plus, there’s that Cooper’s Hawk Winery nearby for a celebratory drink afterward, win or lose.
We got to the mall around noon, and it was already buzzing with trainers. The first raid started, and we jumped in. We had a solid team of 15 people, which is important because Kyurem is no pushover. We all used our best counters, lots of strong fighting and steel types.
The battle was intense! We managed to take Kyurem down with a few seconds to spare. I caught mine on the third Premier Ball – phew! Everyone was super pumped. We did a few more raids, and I ended up catching three Kyurem in total. Not bad, right?
- Met up with friends for Kyurem raids.
- Raided at Brookfield Square Mall.
- Caught three Kyurem.
The Aftermath
After the raids, we all headed to Bar Louie for some food and drinks. It’s a nice place to unwind after a bunch of battles. We shared our best catches and talked about the upcoming events. It was the perfect end to a great day of raiding.
I’m already looking forward to the next big raid event. It’s always a blast to get out there, meet new people, and catch some rare Pokemon. If you’re ever in the Brookfield area and see a bunch of people staring at their phones, come join us!
