Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to get into Magic: The Gathering lately, you know, MTG? And I figured, if I’m gonna do this, I gotta do it right. No half-measures, right? So, the first thing I did was get myself a decent deck. That was easy enough, but then I thought, “What about a playmat?”

Now, I’m a sucker for cool designs, and what’s cooler than dragons, am I right? So, I went on the hunt for a dragon-themed MTG playmat. I started looking around online, checking out all these different stores and websites for something unique and custom, but it’s surprisingly hard! After digging through pages and pages of stuff, I finally came across a few that caught my eye. The detail on these things was insane! You got your classic fire-breathing dragons, some more mystical-looking ones, and everything in between.
I spent a good chunk of time just comparing all the different designs, trying to find the perfect one. I mean, this is gonna be my go-to playmat, it’s gotta be epic! And then there’s the size, seems like most are around 24×14 inches, which seems to be a pretty standard size, and it’s large enough for my mouse. And it is made of plastic, so it feels nice and smooth. It’s the perfect playmat, really!
Eventually, I narrowed it down to this one design. It’s got this awesome-looking dragon, kind of like a Scourge Dragon Blast, all fierce and ready to battle. And the best part? It was stitched, so I know it’s not gonna fall apart on me. I ordered it right then and there, and when it finally arrived, I was not disappointed.
Here’s what I did:
- Searched Online: I spent hours looking through different websites and stores.
- Compared Designs: I looked at a ton of different dragon designs to find the best one.
- Checked Size and Material: I made sure the size was right (around 24×14 inches) and that it was made of something durable, I got a plastic one.
- Chose a Stitched Design: I went with a stitched design for extra durability.
- Ordered: I ordered the playmat online.
- Enjoyed: I unboxed the playmat and have been using it for my MTG games ever since!
The Result
This playmat is everything I wanted and more. It’s got a non-slip back, so it stays put during intense games, and the fabric top is super smooth, so my cards don’t get damaged. Plus, it just looks so cool! It really adds to the whole MTG experience, you know?
I’m really happy with my dragon playmat. It took some time and effort to find the perfect one, but it was totally worth it. If you’re looking for a playmat, definitely consider getting a custom one with a design you love. It makes playing so much more enjoyable!
