Okay, so today I wanna talk about this VR game I’ve been messing with, called “Another Fisherman’s Tale.” It’s like a follow-up to some other game, “A Fisherman’s Tale,” but I haven’t played that one, so whatever.

First off, I saw some stuff online about sharing videos with friends and family, but that’s not really what I got into. I was more interested in the game itself.
So, I jumped in and the game tells you it’s all about puzzles, but like, mind-bending ones. You gotta use your own body, which is kinda weird but cool. You can detach your limbs and control them separately. Sounds crazy, right?
I started by just messing around, trying to figure out what the heck I was supposed to do. I tried to detach my hand first, which worked in the game like, and then I was throwing it around and controlling it to grab stuff. Pretty wild.
- First, I just threw my hand at random objects to see what would happen.
- Then, I figured out I could actually aim and grab things.
- After that, I started to understand how to use my detached hand to solve puzzles.
You can also find new “attachments” to progress. I found some weird stuff, like a hook and a crab claw. I tried to pick them up and attach them to my body like a real limb. It felt strange, but it was the only way to move forward. I figured these would be useful for certain puzzles, and they were!
Exploring the World
The game has some really nice-looking places. They call them “unique locations.” I just went around exploring, seeing what I could find. The whole time, you’re supposed to be figuring out some big “truth,” but honestly, I was just enjoying the scenery and the weird puzzles.
There was also this thing about guessing the video game in an input field, but I didn’t really mess with that. It didn’t seem all that important. Also I tried to put my hand into input filed and nothing happened at all!
Anyway, that’s pretty much my experience with “Another Fisherman’s Tale.” It’s a weird, trippy game, but it’s fun if you’re into puzzles and stuff. The whole body-detaching thing is pretty unique, and the world is cool to explore. I don’t know about finding any big “truth,” but it’s a fun way to kill some time. I hope you enjoy it too.
