Alright, let’s talk about them 2003 TMNT reissue toys, ya know, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I ain’t no expert, but I seen some things and heard some things, so I’ll tell ya what I know.
First off, these things, they ain’t new new. They’re what they call a “reissue,” which means they made ’em again, like they did back in 2003. Them turtles, Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael, they been around a long time, even before that. Had a TV show, movies, all sorts of stuff. I remember seein’ them on the TV when my kids were little. Always fightin’ that Shredder fella and his goons. Good times, good times.
So, this reissue thing, it happened ’cause folks still like them turtles, even now. Kids and grown-ups too, I guess. They want them toys again, so the company, Playmates Toys they call ’emselves, they started makin’ ’em again. Smart fellas, them toy makers. Know how to make a buck.
Now, from what I gather, there’s this 4-pack thing, you know, all four turtles in one box. That’s a good deal I reckon, gettin’ all of ’em at once. People like that bundle thing, seems like a bargain. I seen some folks talkin’ about it online, on them interwebs things. They were all excited, pre-orderin’ and whatnot. BigBadToyStore, they was sellin’ ’em, I think.
- Leonardo, he’s the leader, the one with the swords. Serious fella, always bossin’ the others around.
- Donatello, he’s the smart one, the one with the stick. Always tinkerin’ with stuff, makin’ gadgets and such.
- Michelangelo, he’s the funny one, the one with the nunchucks. Always goofin’ off, eatin’ pizza.
- Raphael, he’s the tough one, the one with the sais. Got a bit of a temper, always arguin’ with Leonardo.
But it ain’t always easy findin’ these toys, ya know. Some folks, they say they went to the store, Target I think it was, and they couldn’t find ’em. Sold out, maybe. Or maybe they just ain’t got ’em yet. One fella, he said he found Mikey and Leo, but not the other two. Guess you gotta be lucky, or maybe go early in the mornin’ when the store opens.
These toys, they ain’t just for kids, though. I seen grown men, big fellas, gettin’ all worked up about ’em. Collectin’ ’em, puttin’ ’em on shelves, showin’ ’em off. Reminds ’em of their childhood, I guess. Makes ’em feel young again. Nothin’ wrong with that, I reckon. We all need a little bit of fun in our lives, even when we get old.
This whole TMNT thing, it’s been around a long while. Started with a comic book I heard, then they made a TV show, and then movies. The show, they say it ran for a bunch of years, seven seasons or somethin’. Even switched channels a few times. Started on Fox, then went to somethin’ called The CW. And then Cartoon Network, they showed it too, for a while.
So, is this new movie they talkin’ about a continuation, or somethin’ new entirely? Well, from what I heard, it’s kinda both. Like, it’s connected to the old movies, but it’s also startin’ somethin’ fresh. Confusin’, I know. But that’s how they do things these days, keep ya guessin’.

Anyway, them 2003 reissue TMNT figures, they seem to be a big deal for some folks. If you’re lookin’ for ’em, good luck. You might have to hunt around a bit, but if you find ’em, they might just bring a smile to your face. Or your kids’ face. Or your grandkids’ face. Heck, even your old grandpa’s face. Who don’t like turtles that know karate, right?
And if you do get your hands on them, take good care of ’em. Don’t let the dog chew on ’em, or leave ’em out in the rain. These things, they might be worth somethin’ someday. Or maybe not. But either way, they’re a piece of history, a reminder of a simpler time. A time when four teenage mutant ninja turtles were the coolest thing around.
So that’s the lowdown on them 2003 TMNT reissue toys, as best as I can tell ya. Hope it made some sense. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. Got a hankerin’ for some fried chicken and mashed potatoes.
