Working Principle
The vipeak symons cone crusher is installed in a crushing circuit as a secondary crusher, which have incorporated all the rugged, dependable, high capacity features of previous ones. Pre-crushed material is fed in via the top of the cone crusher flows over the mantle while then mantle rotates by the vertical drive shaft. The mantle performs eccentric movements under the concave (also called bowl liner), so squeezing & crushing the material between the cone crusher mantle and concave. In general, a cone crusher runs on V-belts driven by an electric motor or diesel engine. Cone crusher is applied in the secondary or tertiary step of industries including quarry and aggregates production, mining and minerals processing, demolition and recycling crushing.
